I’m for real! These are the best bagels I have ever tasted. I love picking some up after my substitute teaching job

Not good bagels, 3/10 overall. Won’t be back and don’t recommend.
1) They look burnt, they taste burnt, they are burnt. This is the biggest problem.
2) The bagels are too small; inside to crust ratio is too small. Maybe they aren’t using enough dough or aren’t letting the dough rise enough. Something is wrong there…
3) The inside is too much like a loaf of bread. It’s doesn’t have that chewy dense goodness.
4) They don’t do bakers dozens (weird for a bagel place but whatever I guess).

Everything was straightforward and easy
Good Times Bagels has always been a unique spot with a great atmosphere, which is why this review is tough to write. I’ve been coming here for a long time, and while it used to be amazing, the quality has noticeably gone downhill.
I ordered a normal bagel sandwich and was genuinely surprised by the size — apparently they now serve mini bagels. For an $8 bagel sandwich, it does taste good, but the size of the bagel itself is laughable.
I keep coming back because I want this place to succeed, but I’m writing this in hopes that things change. Otherwise, it feels like we’re watching another small business slowly head in the wrong direction.
That said, the coffee is still good — so there’s that. I really hope they get back to what made them great… the bagels

Good Times Bagels make THE BEST bagels in the Treasure Valley! Growing up on the east coast (NJ), I can assure you these bagels can go head-to-head with the best bagel shops in the Tri-State area.
Bagels are always crunchy, fresh, and flavorful!!

Clearly the best bagles in town. Fresh ingredients and the bagle chew/texture is outstanding.

Delicious bagel sandwiches today! I had the Turkey on Onion and the hubs had the Pastrami on Everything. These bagels are delicious - the wood fired crust has great chew and the sandwich meats and toppings are high quality. Great job to Cari & the Good Times crew! Thank-you!

Best bagels in Boise. Not a lot of variety but they’re good. Soft inside with a delicious chewy crust. They have great variety of cream cheese though. I think they’re pretty affordable too considering a lot of other places seem to charge an arm and a leg for bagels. Parking kind of sucks if they get busy but that’s not their fault.

My Dad took me here when I first moved to Boise and I'm glad he did because it's quickly become one of my favorite spots in Boise! I love places that care about quality ingredients and food making and Good Times definitely checks that box. All their bagels are hand-rolled, boiled in honey water, and baked each morning in their wood-fired oven. And they certainly taste like it, too!
Not only that but they have delicious coffee and matcha drinks. Their staff is always so friendly and helpful. Oh, and they also do wood-fired pizza night so definitely make sure to check that out because their pizzas are just as good as their bagels. And did I mention they serve wine at pizza night?
