9 Best Greek Restaurants near Boise

“It has been a few years since I have been to the Gyro Shack. I didn't have the best service the last time I came which was about 4 years ago. I wanted something quick that wasn't a burger or taco so I decided to give this joint another shot.

I have actually been here twice in a row. I was here yesterday as well. I remember I got a side Greek salad with my gyro one time and that's honestly what I wanted. It sounded like a clean and light lunch in this crazy summer heat.

I placed my order at the drive thru. Both times I was helped by some nice employees. I appreciate that they didn't make me feel like I needed to order more than I wanted. They both got my side salad ordered and I drove up to the window. Both times I was rang up and was given my bag with a great smile. I got my goods and was on my way to work.

The Greek salad is so good. I love the freshness of all the veggies. The feta and kalamata olives are my favorite part. The dressing that comes with it is light even though it's olive oil based. One side isn't enough, I'll have to grab two the next time I grab another salad.

I'm happy I have this joint another shot. They are conveniently on my way to and from work. It's a healthy and quick lunch. I look forward to my many salads in my future from this joint. It's my new summer fixation meal.“

“we are visiting from Utah for a few days. we randomly chose to go to Romio's for dinner. what a great choice! we ordered Greek platter. there was enough food there for two of us. our food came out to us nice and hot and absolutely delicious! we were so full that we had to take our tiramisu to go. our waiter was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. we highly recommend Romio's. we' ll be back the next time we come to Boise. “We loved Mediterranean food so we had to try. I have to admit the spanakopita was a disappointment. They warmed in microwave and took away the crispness of the phyllo and the spinach filling didn’t have flavor. The traditional gyro sandwich was very good. The Greek salad was good too. The fries and fry sauce rounded it out. The staff was super friendly and kind.“

“Really enjoyed coming here with my family. The staff were polite, easy to work with. This place is clean and kept up well. The food is really juicy and came out fast and hot. We had the spicy chicken and the original chicken. My husband and daughter actually preferred the spicy chicken, it was flavorful and not too spicy for them. I preferred the original chicken, it was perfectly cooked and tasted great. Highly recommend this place. We will be back soon!“
