Happy Teriyaki - Broadway (BSU)

This is a just alright place to get some oriental food. The service was also alright. I will come another time to see if this place is consistent.

I ordered a couple chicken bowls on the website and it defaulted to this store instead of my Meridian store. I immediately called the store to get it canceled and someone named Mist answered the phone but said my orders were ready and he has no way of cancelling it. He said I could give his manager a call whom wasn't there. He also told me his manager was named Joe but couldn't give any last name. I called "Joe" and it went to a default cell phone voicemail and the call was never returned. The food is expensive for what you get and if you need any kind of customer service whatsoever you get the worst treatment. Now I'm out $30 for two bowls and a soda and also a tip that they make you pay up front when you order. They straight stole money from me without even a call to make it right somehow. Terrible treatment of a regular customer and now I have to get the charge cancelled through my credit card company hopefully.

On Friday, Nov. 8th, I ordered a spicy chicken bowl to go. When I got home, I found the food was room temperature and it was a regular teriyaki bowl instead of a spicy bowl. I paid almost $12 dollars for this small bland-tasting bowl that had almost no sauce and they didn't even get the order right. They already raised their prices too high and then I don't get what I ordered.

Food is not great, but it is edible. Staff are very nice and friendly! Do not get the grilled shrimp. It is far from fresh. Husband has the tempura shrimp and said it was good.

Ordered 2 beef teriyaki bowls with Sauce on the side. Waited an hour for our food for it to be completely wrong. So, I called told them what happen and she says oh I am so sorry I didn’t see that. The main ingredient that makes the whole meal was not added so we spent $40 to throw it away! Thanks Happy Teriyaki!!

I have ate at the Happy Teriyaki location in Meridian multiple times. This was by far my worst experience Orange chicken was over cooked very crunchy no sauce. I was there an hour before they closed and all they could care about was doing side work almost positive that’s why my food was over cooked. Not to mention the food was sitting in the window for quite awhile before the front of house realized it.
