This is our favorite place to recommend to guests looking for a beer and WiFi during the day — this question it comes up a lot. Hops is just 1.5 blocks from the Modern and they love dogs! So, bring your dog! We also go here to fill growlers of draft beer for our hotel guests. Don’t forget to take home some beer you won’t find anywhere else in Boise!

I've been a patron of Hops and Bottles for years. The location's assets include an amazing array of drinks on tap, as well as a huge selection of canned and bottled beverages in a refrigerated section that comprises the ENTIRE! back wall of the indoor space. I also like the relaxed atmosphere and options for indoor or patio seating. I want to take a moment to put a plug in for Max, who's shown to be my favorite bartender over the years. He's a versatile conversationalist and takes time to get to know you in a substantive way. Aside from making for pleasant conversation, he's great at helping you make a personalized selection for the perfect beverage. THANKS MAX!!

What a find ! Traveling from Chgo and stumbled on this gem! The selection of beverages is insane. Even better than the selection is Max the bartender. He was so personable , funny and crazy knowledgeable about all the different options. All you have to do is tell him what you like and Trust his advice! Love this place !
