This is the only bar I've been too that charges for WATER. even I asked for tap water they said my only option was to buy a bottle of water.... I can't believe that's even legal to not give out free water.

Coming here is definitely a choice! I feel like it's a rite of passage you have to experience at least once if you're visiting Boise. The space is HUGE. You walk in and there are bras hanging from the ceiling, and it looks like the place hasn't been updated at all since it opened, which is part of its charm. We were lucky enough to come on a night that the Rocci Johnson Band was performing, which was a lot of fun. They were celebrating people's birthdays, singing all the hits, throwing prizes out into the crowd. I was shocked when I saw that they perform here every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night and even more shocked to read another review saying that they've been playing at Humpin' Hannah's for 30 years. Insane! It leans towards being a college bar, but there were people of all ages here which was fun. It's quite an experience. Cheap drinks, fun music, lots of people. They had security guards throughout the space, and at one point I was sitting alone waiting for my fiance to come back from the bathroom and one of the security guards approached me to make sure I was okay. They were on it! I love to see that, especially in a bar like this that attracts a big crowd.

Humpin Hannah's was a blast! Was in Boise for the weekend celebrating my cousin in law's 23rd birthday and decided to come by here for the night. I had no idea how iconic this place was in Idaho, but I definitely understood why by the end of the night! Initially they play good songs with the music video displayed in the background before The Rocci Johnson Band comes out with Rocci herself performing and generously throwing goodies into the crowd. She has very vibrant energy that you immediately gravitate towards. I would totally come back here!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Saw multiple posts about a bouncer kicking people out and thought a group of 8 30 year olds on a business trip would be okay.. man was I wrong. After we walked in and bought 8 beers we walked over to a pool table at 9:45 on a Thursday night (maybe 8 other people in the place) when all of a sudden one of the bouncers walks upstairs and proceeds to kick out a guy on his first beer for being too intoxicated. Apparently for walking into the wrong (maybe not even labeled as we couldn't see one) restroom and walking back out when realizing his mistake it's worth losing service of half the bar by kicking him out. Seems like bouncers on a power trip, which is a shame as it seemed like a cool bar.. we had a great time at Pengilly Saloon afterwards with their live band and pool table.. highly recommend

Patrons are asked to check coats and that included purses. Turns out you will get your coat back, however, not your purse! How is it possible that the same person that checks in your items does not return the same items back. It’s irresponsible to handout a ticket claiming their is a system in place to “checking in” items at the door and it fails bc when you return with the ticket the employee gave you, your purse is missing. And all management does is state, it’s not their fault. What a class act and horrible way to treat patrons. Everyone else in the party of 4 received their purse back except for the young lady that owned the LV. Doesn’t make sense and management should be held responsible for replacing the handbag, especially if they require patrons to check in their items. Doesn’t matter the items. They are responsible when they accept the items and hand you a ticket in exchange. So sad that a police report will need to be made and an attorney consulted to recover what was either stolen by internal person or negligently given to the wrong person. I hope someone steps up and does the right thing.

Was in boise for the night and hoping to hump. Came here with some friends and shot pool for a few hours, good vibes! The DJ played all the hits, decade by decade. My favorite was the transition from No Diggity to Smells Like Teen Spirit! I wore my wifebeater and leather jacket and pranced around like a stallion, hoping the heads would turn my way , but turns out all the ladies were either too young or too old for my taste. Minus 1 star for that

Typically love Hannah’s, but last night was just not it. Went there with a group, got drinks, went upstairs and was hanging out. About 30 minutes later I get escorted out by security because apparently I “violated” a policy by doing something in the bathroom (they did not explain to me at all what I apparently did). Well for one I didn’t even go to the bathroom and two I didn’t leave my spot the whole night. I even was apparently identified by staff which that dude needs to get his eyes checked. However, it was just not it all I asked was to explain myself and let them know they had the wrong dude, but they refused and kicked me out anyway. They need to fix this type of system if staff cannot accurately kick out the right people.
So much fun and entertaining! Great vibe. Separate from being a fun place, the owner was so kind and went out of her way on a Sunday to help me retrieve my wallet that I left there so I could catch my flight! So nice of her!

Back in April, my brother who goes to Boise State showed me this place and it was definitely a fun experience. Love the lady who sings and great dancing afterward. Plenty of pool tables around to chill with friends. Everytime i go to Boise I have to go for the experience!
