A social hub in Hyde Park with allot of noise and flies.
I generally like this coffee shop on a weekday, if you can get a seat. Not on the weekend, lines are too long.
The servers never give me enough honey. I'd much rather pour my own honey. I can't tolerate sucrose very well, so it's important to me to have access to a fructose based sweetener.
In the Sumner the whole place is overrun by flies. There are no fly strips or anything. I don't see any attempt to control 5he flies in any way. That's actually a health code violation, and it's just gross to have flies crawling on your skin.
For how nice the north end neighborhood has gotten, I think Hyde Perks could try harder to create a cleaner and nicer environment.

friendly and personal yet efficient baristas. honestly super hard working. perfect coffee shop vibed music from some soft shoe gaze to the nostalgic 2000s pop songs. they even use gentle yellow toned lighting, adding to the ambiance.
they have a wide variety of local sweet treats such as gluten free donuts, banana bread, muffins, brownies, and so much more. they have breakfast burritos (vegan ones too). their food and drink prices arent starbuck status so be pleased to know they are actually affordable and reasonable.
ive come here to chill and study for years, its nearly a second home. Definitely try this shop out if you need to catch up on work, study, play some pc games, they have free wifi!
