I have driven past this place going to work for years and never stopped in. Today I was hungry at lunch driving down Glenwood and pulled into the parking lot and looked up to see if they even had food, just looked like a bar to me. They did and I went in to see an AMAZING place! I MUST go back when they have live music on the weekend. No kidding, the service was great, the food was delish, awesome art, this place looks like a great place to go in an evening too.

I love this place. The atmosphere is lively and energetic yet relaxing. Like I could get up and dance to the band or just chill and lusten, It was a refreshing lack of pressure. The crispy chicken wrap I had for dinner was great. The mixed drinks were good. Trying the Churros next time! lol

I moved to Boise in 2019, found Ironwood shortly after. Good Live music and big dance floor! Really well thought out bar menu BEFORE COVID!!! The used to have a good lunch business. Post Covid the food is so mediocre, smallest wings I have ever had. Nacho's have cheese wiz instead of real cheese! The Iceberg Wedge Salad is gone and the care that the old chef had seems to be as well. If you want to listen to music and have a great time dancing Great Place, Eat dinner before.

Great service and super fun trivia on Tuesday's. It would be great if they offered a veggie burger.

My first time here. Great selection of beers. Didn't try any food since we had dinner already. The band was good, the mixer could have brought the vocals more in the foreground. Since Idaho is losing it's Covid regulations they decided not to do any preventions at all. No idea if they ever did. Otherwise a nice place to listen to live music while enjoying a drink.

I really like this place. They have good live music, they'll play the UFC fights, they have pool. Ironwood definitely has a blue collar vibe. The beer is fairly priced. The menu seems a little minimal but I suspect that it's a response to covid. The brisket tacos are great.

better people that don't accuse you of not paying your tab and think the money you left was a tip but I was actually for the beer. let alone the people are lifeless

Won't be going back! Bought tickets for a venue with two other couples week's ago we got to ironwood early to grab some food before show after finally getting drinks the show started one of our party asked a server walking by if we can get someone sent over to order the server responded "if the Service isn't fast enough you can walk up to the bar yourself otherwise good luck we are busy" at this point one of our group asked for a manager. The servers response was "I am the manager we are busy you are waisting your own time!" Then walked away... Believe it or not wasn't the worst part of the night!! At this point we showed our stamps to guy at the door went outside to discuss whether we were going to stay decided the girls are having an OK time we'll just stay and eat after. Upon re entry one of the guys I was with walked to restroom and the door guy starts getting in my face asking "does your friend have an issue?!" I responded "he has to Pee is all as far as I know!" Door guy" he needs to show me his stamp and do u have a problem " standing in my face now! My response was "I have an issue with poor service! Also if u approached my friend as aggressively as u just approached me seems to me u are the one starting an issue! I would like to speak to a manager"! At this point the gentleman in the restroom exits and immediately the door guy is two inches from his face "u need to show me ur stamp on ur hand"! Gentlemen "I showed u on the way outside I just came back in" Door guy "how do I know u didn't sneak in!" Gentlemen "What?? are u stupid I just showed u it on the way out and u saw me come back in!! Me "I'm not sure why u are being an idiot u are instigating an issue that isn't one! I want to speak to a manager! Door guy. "I'll show u an idiot I'll take u into the parking lot and kick your a**** At this point the door guy is yelling in a costumers face and an older gentleman (who later said he was part owner ) runs up like he wants to fight someone "what the fu€k is there a fu€kin problem!" The manager finally walks up (what's the problem?) I again at this point annoyed say" YES my problem is horrible customer service and your door guy is literally trying to start a fight with a customer! Manager "we can just give u ur money back and u can leave..." Me" so I payed in advance for a venue had to wait for drinks- couldn't get food- complained to u in which your response isn't in my opinion what a good manager would reply now ur door guy is threatening us what kind of business are u people running!??! Older guy ("owner?") overheard said he would talk to door guy then said he would walk us out to protect us from door guy!! Me "I got news for ya u are understaffed over packed and u have an employee threatening people if he touches anyone in my group we will file charges!" "Oh and also YELP is an amazing thing!" Older guy (owner?) Instantly changed his attitude and at this point have it escalate so far starts apologizing for the inconvenience and his door guy repeatedly to my party! ( it would have meant something had he done his job and handled his employees before he heard YELP!!) just to be clear before they respond the service was so horrible we were only able to get one drink before all the issues this was NOT an issue with alcohol it was a horrible experience provided bye this so called venue/ grill And I have no review on the food I'm not even sure they actually serve food!!

*UPDATE EDIT: the owner and her sister met with me today to discuss the situation and are dealing with employees in question who ignored the staff mask policy in place and made light of the situation. They stated that staff is, in fact, required to have masks on and the issue will be addressed with the offending staff.

We took a break from Ironwood for quite a while after they had been open for a bit. Too expensive and the service was awful. Fast forward to last month and things are totally different! We decided to give them a try again on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised. The happy hour is awesome and the staff is super friendly and offers great service. Matt makes some amazing cocktails and doesn't try to get all fancy with the classics. His old fashioned is easily one of the best in the valley. Great beer, wine and liquor options are also available. The food can be hit and miss but if it's not right they'll make sure it is! Great spot to relax, watch some sports or place some bar games.

What a great place! Cocktails are always spot on, brews on tap are switched up regularly- so you can try something new every time -, food is great!, and the setting so inviting. Been by during live music with the dance floor open. What a freaking hoot! Regulars keep the vibe high and bring a lively mood with killer dance moves. Dueling pianos was INCREDIBLE, as well. Just an awesome place, all around. The sound is fantastic! This place is a diamond in what used to be the rough...haha, Garden City is definitely on the up & up!!
