The pinnacle of all coffee shops in Boise. Baristas, Bakers, & Chefs all do their best. A hip & cozy atmosphere make this place my go-to for studying and socializing. Food selection is wide and very accommodating for all dietary restrictions. The pastries are hand baked every night and will blow your mind. Kudos to the bakers.
I have found so many great places in Boise, but Java is a true gem! Great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. It is a bit boho in vibe, playing old classic rock (which I love) and very comfortable to hang while eating and drinking your coffee. I got a half sweet Mexican mocha (at the suggestion of the wonderful person at the register) and added their home made whipped cream. Amazing! Probably the best I have had. Pumpkin chocolate chip bred was DELISH, interior is a cool vibe, service was good. I will say I got a specialty drink with black tea, some other flavors, and coconut milk, but all I could taste was the tea. A little disappointing. Also, their prices for food seems kind of crazy. I would come back, but this is not an establishment I will be visiting more than once every two weeks.
