We visit for the coffee and the homemade cream topping. I enjoy white chocolate peppermint mocha. It is pleasant and inviting. A nice location in old time Boise area. A great place to enjoy delicious coffee and fresh bakery pastries. Highly recommend!

Seems as if I was served re-frothed milk or something, basically watered down milk with my latte. No longer on my go-to list of coffee places. To each their own.

My husband and I had our 1st official coffee date here and we stopped to grab a quick coffee on our way out for a drive and what a disappointment. Horribly rude service from the disheveled guy at the counter. Not even a hello or what can I get you but he sure was quick to flip that screen for a tip. The place was dirty and disorganized. Not at all what we remembered. If you want a tip learn how to earn one.

The crew on duty were a bit aloof for me, not very warm and engaging, kind of what you would expect to see in a SNL skit depicting a typical stereographical coffee house employee. Would I visit again? Maybe, but only if other options were busier or closed.

The line was long as they served coffee drinks and lunch. They rushed my mocha through as I was on a trolley tour.
Favorite spot to get coffee. I get their “Keith Richards” it’s definitely my favorite, and they nail it with the fresh whip cream —strong, flavorful, and exactly the kind of pick-me-up you’d hope for. The shop itself has a great vibe, super relaxed and welcoming. If you’re around and need a solid coffee fix, Java is definitely worth a visit!

I enjoy going to Java because it is a cute atmosphere and they have lots of options, if you are seeking variety in your coffee beverage or differing food options. My only concern is how inconsistent the staff is. Most recent time that I visited Java, the staff was incredibly rude. We came during the late afternoon and were some of the only customers in the facility. The staff member taking our order acted as if us being there was a burden and kept responding to our order with annoyance, and even after we tipped them, they continued to be on their phone and we had to wait what felt like an unreasonably long amount of time for an iced coffee. I don't personally want to go back to Java, because I value customer service, but everything else about this space is really enjoyable.
