The coffee and tea and pastries are fantastic. However, the food is seriously lacking. We ordered Huevos rancheros and received a small portion of scrambled eggs and beans with a tortilla on the side. Not huevos rancheros. Worst of all it cost $12. I was so disappointed. I hear their eggs Benedict is wonderful so maybe it's just a case of sticking to what they do well and taking the sub par items off the menu entirely.

Great spot to go anytime, but especially when there's 8 to 10 inches of snow and you don't want to drive!

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here. (We used to live on 13th and used to be frequent flyers). Wow! It’s gone downhill. The coffee and food were terrible. The girl with black and white hair taking our order couldn’t have been ruder. She didn’t even smile or say hello. Our lattes were burned and the music sucked. Sad what Boise is turning into. This used to be an awesome coffee shop with really, really nice people and good coffee.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops. I have been happy with every order be it just coffee and a muffin or breakfast. I love sitting out on their deck and the entire vibe of the store and it's patrons. It's a great stop after hiking at nearby Camels Back Park.

It was impossible to carry on a conversation with my date this Sunday morning. I had to compete with the likes Ozzy Osborne and Jimi Hendrix blaring over the loud speakers !

Great coffee and breakfast food. We live in the area and walk here for coffee at least once a week. The staff are also very friendly.

Staff here lovely and gave great recommendations. The atmosphere here is very cozy and seems like a great place to visit during lunch rush and for a cozy Saturday night. I got a Lavender London Fog and loved it. The pumpkin cold brew is stellar too!

Get the bowl of soul, or the Kieth Richards.Great coffees when they're hot... Down graded my rating as this is the third time I've been handed Luke warm coffee in the past month at the Hyde park location. ?

I've always been eager to embrace new experiences and get my coffee fix swiftly. However, my recent attempt at online ordering left much to be desired. Even though I arrived with time to spare, three patrons who entered after me departed ahead of me, and I had to repeatedly prompt the staff to fulfill my order as if it had gone unnoticed. Java is typically a cherished coffee destination of mine, but I'll be opting to wait in line from now on. Despite the slightly chaotic online ordering experience, the ambiance remains bustling, consistent, and serenely pleasant.

Great place to get coffee and a bagel in the touristy Hyde Park area. The 2nd best feature is that the line moves really fast here. The best feature is all the friendly dogs of people drinking their coffee in the outdoor areas.
