I’ve been stationed in Idaho for the last 2 years and almost everyday I’ve driven past this bar and always wanted to check it out. I finally decided to check out the place this past weekend, but they happened to be at capacity. The security guard then began to let 1 person in for every 1 person that left, but inconsistently. Finally I was next in line to enter and I was told that they were at capacity and we’d have to wait. So I waited in the cold with about 5 people behind me. Some of those people ended up going around the back and entered the bar from the back just to only walk literally to the front (in front of the security guard) and tell their friends to come around the back where they got wrists bands. Pretty soon it was just me outside looking like an idiot, as cars full of people left. Finally, I called it quits and called an uber after waiting approximately 25 mins in the cold, plus another 13 mins for my ride…

Great place, definitely better than it used to be. If you are young, after 10 PM, it’s the place to be. If you are older than 40, leave before 10 PM.

I spent so much money trying to catch a little buzz and all I got was a calfine high there mixed drinks are 90% soda 8%ice and maybe 2% alcohol (maybe)!!!!

I had to drop my dog off at the groomer across the street, and needed somewhere to hang out to while I waited. Decided to pop into Jim’s Alibi and was not disappointed. The bartender was super sweet, made delicious drinks, and let me use the wifi so I could do some work on my laptop while I was there. Fun place for an afternoon hang.

Amazing atmosphere..great bartender I believe her name was Lori. Played some pool and pull tabs.. has a very nice dog friendly patio and horseshoes..10/10
I’m choosing 4 stars based on our experience over the past year. This rating may go up or down depending on if changes are made over the summer.
First, our favorite bartender, Miaja, hasn’t been there at our usual Friday night the past several weeks. She is definitely overworked, so I’m hoping she’ll be back after some much earned R&R. If not, she will be missed!
Second, last weekend we noticed the very nice remodel to the back patio and horseshoes area. But to my disappointment, the women’s bathroom hasn’t had any attention regardless of a water leak in the ceiling that resulted in about 1/3 of the ceiling being removed months ago, which is now rotting joists and open attic that must be a health hazard at this point. THIS will likely result in us not returning for a while if ever if it’s not repaired ASAP. It’s bad enough there only one stall. Anyway if funds can be found for a new patio, surely the women’s bathroom can get a facelift as well!
Reasons why we will continue to go to Jim’s… 1. great drink prices 2. Always meeting new and fun people between Karioke, Pool, and Horseshoes 3. We love Vi as our KJ!! 4. Close to home 5. Love seeing regulars and familiar faces when we go!

I love Jim's Alibi ! I've been going there since 1993. It's always been a working man's bar a lot of fun. Great entertainment. They have pool, darts, horseshoes out back A beautiful patio and they have the Idaho lottery gaming machines there which I play a lot of. And they got too happy hours 12 noon - 2 pm 4 pm - 6 pm
