As an Indian who’s always loved Afghan food and the warmth of Afghan people, I have to say Kaboob House really impressed me! I came from California to Boise for work and decided to give it a try and wow, the food was absolutely amazing. The garlic naan and chicken curry were full of flavor, and the lamb biryani was perfectly cooked. The Afghani naan here is honestly one of the best I’ve had even better than most restaurants back home. Definitely a must-visit spot in Boise!

Just fantastic all the way around! There was 4 of us and our first time here. Owner was so friendly and helped us order. We had the kabob combo , chicken curry, and naan bread. Meat was very tender with great flavor! The chai green tea is outstanding. Food was so flavorful! Portions are made to be family style. Service was so kind and helpful!! We will definitely come back!
Welcomed warmly by the owner today at lunch …this is a family owned business and the food was authentic and delicious! It’s not fancy but the friendly vibe from the people that work there more than makes up for it …
The owner is incredible. Best food and service I've had in Boise. This is the new spot for us when we visit Idaho. Please come visit
Update. We come every year at least a few times. The owner is the best person. Love this place. Thank you

The overall experience was good. The first time I ordered food, the taste was really awesome, a good portion size. The second time, I picked it up, the food was tasteless, not worth the $$ I spent. Part of the reason could be that I haven't explained to them what level of spices I am expecting.
I would like to try again for sure. Their online presence is poor and not up to date with, I have uploaded their recent price list.

We have been going here for many years, and the owner always recognizes us and greets us with a hug or handshake. Truly a hidden treasure in Boise, I cannot say enough good things about it. The food is absolutely fantastic. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the service is always great. The restaurant is beautiful and the walls have incredible pieces of art from their home country of Afghanistan. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

Boise, y'all are sleeping on Kebob House. We just went today, and business is slow. This is an injustice. If youve ever considered coming here and then didn't, Im sorry, but you were wrong. We have been coming to Kabob House for several years and cannot recommend enough. The samosas and Chicken Tikka Masala are the best anywhere in the Treasure Valley. Their naan is the naan I judge all other naan by, and will forever. And the kebobs. I tried ordering chicken kabobs one day and the owner came out to tell us no. It hadn't been marinated long enough yet and needed another hour, but that the beef and lamb were perfect. They were. We've had the kubuli palow, the biryani, and the owner brought us some kind of lentil stuff one day just to try, and we have been craving it relentlessly since and have not found its equal. Please please please check this place out on Emerald and give this family your money. They will disappear into the back and come out awhile later with food fit for Shahs and babas. For fun, Google the Afghani royalty hanging on the walls. The owner says he related to the father of modern Afghanistan! Fascinating men.
