Our waitress what's extremely friendly and accommodating. Very quickly with taking plates away and refills. And making our stay nicer by her friendliness. Are cook went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our party was enjoying their selves and had wonderful food. The entire experience was very Warm friendly and entertaining. Not to mention the food was very good, too.

Found this place online! It was great all around! Service was wonderful, food was delicious, and everything was fresh. They had great options for some of my family members that don’t love sushi. We will be back!

We go to Kyoto often. The chef was amazing!! He had some new "tricks" that we had never seen before so it was like a whole new experience for us!! As always, the wait staff was attentive and the food was amazing!!

Our chef Ta was exceptional. I've been all over the world from Tokyo to Europe and have not seen someone with this level of skill and charisma. This man is an artist and made our experience one we'll never forget. His use of humor with the energy he exuded went above and beyond. The waitress was so kind and we can't wait to come back!

There were several things one on the open door app it doesn't say that when you reserve a table that it's not teppanyaki. I'm not supposed to know what you're thinking tables are. I just know I'm making a reservation. Next, we ordered shrimp and filet mignon for 40 bucks and I got five pieces of cut up steak doesn't seem like $40 worth of meat and my mom got the same thing and she only got four pieces of meat so it's almost like they cut our steak in half and gave half to me and half to her but charge us full price. And then where they sat at every time a waiter waitress would come by because it was so full we would keep getting bumped on our corner seat..

Best fried rice in town and I'm so glad they kept the Marilyn Monroe sushi roll on the menu. I wish they still had the Happy Roll though. Overall, great place!

Great food, fun show! We went for my son's 10th birthday- it was a hit and he caught the shrimp in his mouth first try!

Decent overall. Excellent service - chef at the table did a great job. Dining room wasn't particularly comfortable - all hard surfaces, cheap furniture. This made the noise from all the tables and chefs banging on things harder to hear over. Food was good, and cooked well, but all pretty much the same taste. Shushi rolls were excellent tho!

I have been going to kyoto's for over thirty years. It is by far and away, the very best sushi in town and one of the best dining experiences in Boise.

I took my boyfriend here today for his birthday. My boyfriend wanted hibachi I would have liked the all you can eat sushi, but apparently you can’t sit together and do both. We both thought this was strange but whatever. We both ordered Hibachi, that however was fantastic and the chef was great. But the soup came out cold. I specified that it was his birthday in the reservation and to the waiter. no one even told him happy birthday, much less a complimentary dessert or anything of that nature. We were not offered dessert to purchase either, so that was unfortunate. Just felt like they were rushing to get us out. I thought that was odd as it’s a business and we were trying to spend more money. We showed up on time for our reservation. Overall for the amount of money I spent the service and “taking care of guests” was not up to par. Although I would be willing to give it another try and change my mind, for now I would say spend your money elsewhere.
