My favorite Mexican restaurant in Boise. No other restaurant makes the beans like they do 10/10. It's worth the drive.

Traveling out of town and live in a town that has more Mexican food restaurants than you can count on two hands. The tacos al pastor burrito here blew everything I've ever had out of the water! The girls were friendly and the food was fast and hot. If ever back in town I would definitely eat here again.

Myself and both sides of the family and friends have been dining here for over 2 decades. Food, was on point as usual. Sadly. The worst customer front of house service last night have ever experienced there. Server Juan Carlos was dismissive, I had to physically walk to the register, no water for me and my Dad either. We were completely ignored by all front of the house staff. Deplorable. Obviously will be back soon. But, that was pretty 👎

Refused to seat me or even take a to go order 30 minutes before close. Didn't even offer a polite apology.
This restaurant was very nice they food was ok in our opinion but don’t let that stop you from going. Our waitress was very nice she had black hair and had a mini white claw clip in her hair she was very nice and wonderful. I hope she get more compliments farther on!😊

The menu had quite a bit of an option to choose from just like every other similar restaurants. The food was expensive but tasted okayish compared to other mexican cuisine restaurants and also the food could have been a little more flavourful. The service was good, the server took good care of us. The atmosphere was calm and quiet for a Friday evening. They have an outdoor patio sitting option as well , just an FYI for anyone wanting to do that.

I love La Tapatía! I finally went there after years of hearing about it. It’s a couple of my friends’ favorite Mexican food restaurant. The chips salsa and beans are very good. I had a chicken enchilada and requested green sauce. Mmmm it was so good. Beans and rice with it were superb. They serve generous portions.
