Not a terrible experience by any means. The service was good and atmosphere was nice. The food however was pretty average. Got enchiladas with chicken. Presentation was nice but the plate was scalding hot while the food was below room temperature leading me to think the food was microwaved. Two microwaves in use in the kitchen confirmed that. I also question the quality of the chicken because it looked nothing like chicken which made me think either they gave me something else or the quality is bad. I may come back if I get something different but who knows.

Started off with chips and salsa and beans. Nice inexpensive dinner. Good portions. Fast service nice staff. Small dining area but never overcrowded.

We eat at this place at least once a month. They are usually packed but still we never have to wait for a table if we come before 6pm. We typically order margaritas first, which they serve in huge glasses, and are delicious. As for the foods, I have never had a bad meal there, everything is consistently good and well prepared. Service is friendly and they don't mind when I try to practice my rusty Spanish with them. This is really one of our go to places in Boise for a wonderful meal in a relaxed setting.

Excellent food. Wonderful, friendly service in a casual, relaxed setting. Love their enchiladas and green sauce.

Went last night for dinner and tried the carne asada, it was so good. The tortillas were delicious too. Customer service was also really good.

I love this place. Steak tacos are my go to meal. Cold beer available. The stand alone crispy taco is also a great item for kids.

We go here regularly and I cannot recommend just one item. Every time I go I get something different. Best bean and salsa starter or tied with Matador DT. There is always a special and half the time that is what I order. Nicest people work ar la Tapatia! Not as busy as it used to be when that corridor was full of business before work from home. Especially Albertsons. Please go to jeep this place open!!

We all had burritos for lunch: carnitas and carne asada.First the burritos were massive.I asked for my sauce on the side and glad I did.Everything from the chips and salsa and burritos were tasty. I just wish the hot sauce was spicier.Service was really good. Will definitely be back.

I didn't like it, I ordered hoe tacos and the pastor flavor seasoning...but the service and pleasant place were very good.
