Today was my first time coming to Life's Kitchen. I grabbed a BLT with fries as a carryout. The food was so delicious. The bacon was cooked to perfection! I adore their way of serving 2nd chances. They teach teens how to be successful in a commercial kitchen as well as the life skills to be an adult. They offer classes to help the employees who need to get their GED. They also donate to Interfaith Sancutary. They cater. They can host your party in a private banquet room. They have a food truck. Very happy they are here doing such great things! I will definitely be back!!

The food was great. The French toast was nice and lofty and delicious. The bacon was a perfect temperature with just the right amount of crispiness.
The overall bang for the buck was amazing. Very reasonable prices.

Service and food were wonderful! Love the concept of the program and what it does for the individuals who go through it and for our community!

Life’s Kitchen catered our wedding- and we would use them again and again! We had them do passed appetizers and a buffet dinner- all of it was so well coordinated, they worked with us to make sure the system was well tailored to our wedding, and the food was delicious! The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the steak was not dry and well done, and the eggplant parm was a hit with our veggie friends. The Swedish meatballs for the appetizers are a MUST HAVE!

Not sure how to justly review here since life's kitchen is a nonprofit aimed at helping people transition from one lifestyle to another. But they do a pretty darn good job. I had fun and wish the staff seemed to be having fun, too. They delivered a Cobb Salad constructed the way I like. Our Reuben made it into our Top 10 Reuben Sandwiches of all time at #9. Conversational staff? Not so much. Recommended.

My boys and I went here this morning and had a great breakfast! Nicki was our waitress and she was so kind, cheerful (seriously a ball of sunshine!) and amazing with my boys!

The food was delicious, minus by Eggs Benedict being a little on the cooler side, but it also had fresh tomato and avocado, so I’m assuming they were the culprits of it not being hot.

I added ham to my Cali(?) Benedict and it was a big ole slab! I was impressed! My eggs were cooked to PERFECTION, which I can’t say about most places cooking poached eggs. Their sausage patty’s were incredible as well!

Seriously amazing food for a dang good price! We’ll definitely be back here again!

Did you Google "Boise best biscuits and gravy"? Well here you go, Life' Kitchen is your place.
Super buttery biscuits. If that's not your thing then I'm sure they can make them with not so much butter. The gravy is OMG good with nice chunks of meat. Nothing is dry, nothing is too thick, nothing is going to give you a mouthful of mystery meat grizzle.
The quantity and quality is among the best I've eaten in my travels across the US. I have yet to find a better biscuit and gravy in Boise. Heads-up: not opened weekends so that "best biscuits and gravy in Boise" craving will have to be handled Monday through Friday. I know, I know: the struggle is real.

We used Life's Kitchen to throw a catered surprise party and couldn't have been more pleased. The banquet room rental was considerably cheaper than any other venue we considered. Rachel effortlessly guided us through the party planning from start to finish, helping us pick out appetizers, entrees, desserts, and linens. The food was delicious, and served very professionally by two LK students.

I ordered one of the Life's Kitchen quiches for my Easter brunch. Everyone raved about it and it could have easily served 12-16. Thanks for making my Easter brunch prep so easy and yummy!😋
