This is some of the best Mexican food we've ever had! We tried the tacos, torta, and sope and they were all amazing. And Lorena is such a sweet heart! You can tell she truly cares about her customers. We'll definitely be going back!

I don’t even know where to start! Lorena is so so kind and was so patient with me while I ordered. I had the birria tacos and woooow!!! Probably the best tacos I’ve had in a long time! I’m going to try go back again this week. I also had some of the águas frescas and it was super refreshing. Please let’s keep supporting our girl Lorena!

What a great spot, with fantastic customer service and food. I asked for a breakfast burrito without meat and she basically customized the thing just for me, asking if I wanted to add beans and additional veggies. She was so nice! And then she handed me a burrito that was so big that there was no way I could finished it all in on sitting. And it was delicious to boot! Really recommend this place to anybody who wants great food at a reasonable value.

Finally made it in after wanting to try out and I’m happy I did! Nice covered seating to keep you shady in this crazy heat! Had some really good tacos, asada / carnitas / birria and a tamale! Had both the red and green salsa and both had good flavor! I’ll be back for more of the menu!
It was our first time here and the food was so good. Best Mexican food that I've had in a long time. My family and I shared an asada burrito, chicharron tacos, and tamales. Everything was flavorful and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Mexican food.

Best Mexican food in the city (in my humble opinion) and my favorite lunch spot by far. They always make extremely delicious food and they're very friendly and quick. I go 1-3 times a week and they always recognize me and greet me very warmly. The woman who runs it is SUPER sweet and so is her nephew (I think it's her nephew.) Very reasonably priced as well. My favorites are the mole and chicken enchiladas or the lengua tacos and they are SO GOOD. Rice and beans on the side is a must have too, it hits the spot every time. I've also had the ceviche (TOP NOTCH, AMAZING) and one of the tortas. No matter what you order it's always tasty and satisfying. I love Lorena's, a true city staple and often the high light of my day. Thank you!!! Cannot recommend enough, would give more stars if I could.
