Picked up 2 lunch orders to go. We had to call and let them know that our 2 different chicken dishes were inedible. Fried rice and crab ragoons were delicious but something was very wrong with the chicken. They were less than helpful. Refunded part of our lunch which was nice of them but they didn't seem interested on offering a different dish other than chicken or anything. Definitely lost a customer who works within walking distance to them.

This place is just bad. Food is below average at best. Friendly staff though.

Where are all the real Chinese chefs? Today I decided I wanted to try lucky palace. I ordered pork fried rice, Mongolian beef and an egg roll I spent 29 dollars plus a ten dollar tip not well deserved. Look at the rice it’s white rice with little pieces of diced ham, egg and onions barely noticeable, I mean just put it in the blender and make a smoothie out of it!! And look at the Mongolian beef! It’s like a combination of pepper steak and god knows what else! Barely no steak tons of weird veggies-not Mongolian beef!! The egg roll was the only thing that was good. Looking at the place it looked like a real Chinese place but I guess looks are deceiving. At least they gave me lots of fortune cookies which I can fill myself up with cause that food went straight to the garbage.

We have been ordering for years from Lucky Palace. By far, the best in the Valley. Everything is so good and everywhere else is disappointing. Delivery is fast and friendly.

We ordered fried rice, steamed rice, beef & asparagus, vegetable egg foo Yung, beef egg foo Yung, and teriyaki chicken. Really big disappointment. Teriyaki chicken was good but didn't taste like teriyaki chicken. The rest was just subpar. Rice didn't have the right texture, and the rest just didn't taste right. This is the second time in 2 years and we don't remember the first time being subpar, but this time was a huge letdown.

The wonton wor soup is out of this world and very filling. Staff are very fast and friendly and even remembered the last time we were there.

Got our order WAY wrong. Right amount of things but half the order was something completely different. Soup instead of chow mein wrong.
Didn't notice until I got home an hour later.

Got the Kung pao chicken, shrimp and baby cabbage, and the lo mein. All was very delicious and fresh. We were traveling from out of town and this was some of the better Chinese food we've had.

First time visiting. Ordered the "mandarin chicken with pork fried rice". What I received was some chicken flooded in sweet and sour sauce. If there was any mandarin flavor at all under the sauce I was not able to detect it. Way too sweet, tasted like a jelly donut, not at all like mandarin chicken. The fried rice tasted like plain white rice with some veggies added to it, like it was never fried at all. Service was fine.

Have been looking for my next favorite and I found it. I'm totally vegan with allergies and the dish they pulled off was so good. It was quick, the servers were totally friendly and I've already been back twice.

Excellent food. I requested gluten free options and was pleased to find that they could accommodate me. I had the lemon chicken and pork fried rice. I will definitely return.

After 7 years of ordering from the same Chinese restaurant, my husband and I decided to switch it up and order from Lucky Palace. Lesson learned to not fix something that's not broke. We ordered the hot pepper shrimp, house spicy shrimp, and spring rolls. The hot pepper shrimp...the shrimp was fried with the shells on the shrimp, so after you peeled the shrimp...you were left with only the shrimp and all of the seasoning and flavor completely off of it. The house spicy shrimp was so congealed that you could pick up the entire dish with a fork. There was just no way that this meal came from a 4 star rated restaurant so we called in hopes to at least get our money back for the hot pepper shrimp dish because it was inedible. We spoke to the owner of the restaurant who only made excuses and stated that "this is how we cook it" and only kept over talking me and making excuses. He kept mentioning that "Chinese restaurants are not for everyone." He took no accountability and this place definitely needs some kind of customer service training. Panda Garden on Overland has been our trite and true. Immediately after this encounter, we ordered for them and our Friday night is not entirely ruined.

Some of the best American-style Chinese food in Boise! Great service too.
Vegetarian options: Can do steamed or fried tofu on any dish. General's tofu is on point. Vegetarian fried rice was pretty good and vegetarian lo mein was great!
