I went there yesterday night for st. Paddy’s day and everything was good until the bartender decided to yell at me and say that he was refusing service because I didn’t tip him. He said I come every week and don’t tip… I’ve only been there 3 times. I have my receipts from the 3 times I’ve been there and I’ve tipped those 3 times! Not only did he accuse me but decided to get aggressive and yell at me in front of everyone. I always bring cash to tip at the end of the night depending on how the service was. The other bartender said it’s a lesson I should learn because I should tip every drink I get instead of waiting till the end of the night. All the other customers who were there and witnessed what happened were shocked of how unprofessional he was. How I said I have proof that I’ve only been there 3 times so he had no right to treat me like that. I don’t know how the owner can stand for this behavior, the bartenders are refusing to make money for the bar unless they get tipped right away. I hope the owner does something about this situation because if not it really shows how much they care about their customers. I hope the owner keeps in mind that if the bar is losing money it’s for a reason and if there’s a lot of similar bad reviews ITS FOR A REASON! I’m not %100 sure but the bartenders name is Dustin or Justin.

Nighttime bartenders cater to regulars. If you aren't a regular, you will be bullied. Owner doesn't seem to care! Daytime staff is much better. I will never go back at night!!!!

Friendly staff, great beer, dive bar ambience, and a good variety of bar games. Would highly recommend. Mustafa from the glass shop is a friendly neighborhood dog as well.
Group of 20 guys walked in and got yelled at. Checked id’s wrong on all of us. And the bartender was overwhelmed, drunk, and took a shot infront of us before serving us… do not recommend.

Mclearys off orchard is the worst bar in boise in terms of service. They have locals checking IDs for a party of 10+ and giving trouble to any ID out of state. Mentioned to tip our bartender more if we are out of state. This place will not be getting a dime of my money.

Rolled in after 5p ⏰ rush was done and had a good drink, a great conversation with the bartender and listened to some off-the-beaten-path music. Chill....Parking: Best parking is around back.
