This was my first time and it was worth it, I'll definitely be going back. The fish and fried prawns were the lightest, crispiest crunch! I've never tasted fish like this before! I don't know what they used to make that crisp but it was delightful and the staff was awesome too! The price was a bit higher than the website said but it was worth it and the sourdough bread tasted straight out of San Francisco! It was perfect! It scared me at first to appear so empty when they first opened but it was soon hopping and bopping as was the oldies music playing which made a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend!

I came here for veterans day and they really gave me the royal treatment the staff was kind and gracious, the restaurant was calm and very clean and tidy, and last but not least the food was to die for. I had the bay shrimp pasta and a side salad that was amazing. You should stop in here if you like seafood it is deffinently worth your time!!

Always a great experience at McGrath's. The food is always tasty and the service top notch. ....their treat to Veterans is just an added bonus and reflects well on their establishment

We’ve been ordering food delivery for my MIL to keep her safe during COVID and McGrath’s has been a favorite. On a recent visit, we ordered dinner and I have to say, the food is awesome! Portions are generous, the Fisherman’s Stew is perfect on a cold fall night. Thanks, McGraths, for making our first dinner in Boise delicious!

I hate leaving a bad review, but this is probably the worst restaurant (food wise) I've ever been to. DO NOT ORDER THE SIRLOIN STEAK! Even the manager had to tell me they're not known for their steak. The steak tasted like liver. I think McDonald's uses better meat. The lobster was overcooked and over salted, but edible. On the positive side, the decor is nice and our waitress was very nice.

We showed up at 430 for dinner. There where only a couple of other tables being used. We ordered endless prawns. We got our salads in pretty good time. Then our shrimp took like 30 minutes to get. We then ordered some more prawns and it took like 25 min . We decided it was not worth our time to wait for more prawns. It was 630 pm . So we asked for our check and the waitier charged us wrong. It was probably the worst experience for dinner that we have had in quite some time. We probably will not be back

Great food, socially distanced tables to maintain safe distance and the staff were wearing masks. I appreciate what you are doing to keep us all healthy. And the food was amazing!

A favor treat when going to get fresh fish. Everything we've ever had was wonderful! Friendly and helpful employees. And a very welcoming and comfortable place for the whole family.

We took family out as they like this place. The food was reheated and terrible. We had to send things back and it was still like rubber. We will never go there again.

My parent's just celebrated their 64th anniversary here and they had a wonderful meal! The service was great and the extra attention for their special night was really appreciated! Special shout out to Manager Pam for going the extra mile bridging family across the miles! We will definitely be back!

I am literally in the restaurant as I type this. The food is good as always. The service is terrible. I was sitting at the table looking at the alcoholic drink menu. The waitress comes up, can clearly see what menu I am looking at and only offers me water or iced tea. I think the bar is closed because of this. Then I look around and see other people with alcoholic drinks on their table. Then she brings out my salad. At no point does she ask me if I need anything else, which salt and pepper would have been nice. I have been coming here for years, celebrated many birthdays here. I was thinking of eating here on my upcoming 50th birthday. Now I wont be. This place wont be around much longer with terrible service like this. No, I am not leaving a tip.

McGrath’s⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️For dinner tonight, I got a Dungeoness Crab Louie Salad with shrimp added on from McGrath’s in Boise. You can’t see it because it’s hidden beneath the crab but this salad includes hard-boiled eggs, black olives, cucumbers and tomatoes. The Louie salad dressing came on the side. The salad came with fresh baked sourdough bread and butter. The salad was $22.99 before adding on the shrimp which was $1.99. The cook was confused by the ticket and gave me double the amount of shrimp for the same price. So I got 4 ounces of Dungeoness crab and 4 ounces of shrimp for that price. My lucky day! McGrath’s is a small chain restaurant. Their first restaurant was in Salem, Oregon in 1980. They eventually expanded to 21 locations; today they have 5. They do dining and take out. If you like seafood, I would encourage you to give them a try. They do a great job!
