I was starving today and couldn't decide on what i wanted so I grabbed a food hual from Meltz! It's my first time here so I had a few questions about the menu. The young man that helped me did a great job answering all my questions! We ordered the Oinker, kids Meltz with tomato soup and a side cobb salad. I grew up in Idaho and I recently returned home for the holidays. I am a Chef from Dallas Tx and have been following trends in the Boise area and this place is a jewel. It has everything that I look for in great concept restaurants. Simplicity and Quality. The service is truly genuine. Everything I tried was fantastic. Layers of flavor and very creative. Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese offers delicious food, particularly the Mac n' Cheese and the Evolooshun sandwich with jalapeños. The atmosphere is spacious and can become lively when busy. The staff provide excellent service, and the beer/bar area is a nice touch while waiting. Although the food court location has changed, the quality remains high. While the prices might be slightly higher, the food quality makes it worth the visit. Many customers have mentioned that the grilled cheese sandwiches are some of the best they have ever had, with great flavor and not overly greasy. The hope for more locations in the future remains strong.
