MJ's Italian Ice & Custard Cafe

We cane here to get a sweet treat at 8pm. Was pleasantly surprised with the options and were excited to try this place out. Got two churro donuts. One with chocolate and one with caramel both are amazing and thats coming from someone who doesnt really enjoy churro flavored foods. My wife got a tigersblood and coconut italian ice and i also got a cherry and drpepper frizz drink. Both amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend!

Their Italian shaved ice is Amazing!!!! Best ice cream in Idaho hands down. Very friendly management and great customer service. A must spot if you're visiting to Idaho or just for all idahoans a must spot! ??? AND they make the best Pretzels. It's worth the wait because they are fresh. ?

Absolutely love this place, tried Italian ice here once and was hooked. As someone who is dairy sensitive but loves ice cream, Italian ice made for a great substitute. The butter beer is my favorite, but they've got a lot of good flavors.

Delicious, creamy frozen custard in generous portion sizes. The staff is always friendly and work to get the line moving quickly and efficiently. This is our new favorite place for a frozen treat!

GET OUT this place is so great! I've been wanting to stop in for SO LONG as I drive passed it on my way to & from the office! FINALLY I was like we are GOING!

I love the later evening hours! Open til 10pm during the week. I am a late dessert kind of human. The girls that were working at the counter were friendly and explained their products. Obviously, I had to try the Olympic Themed dessert! It was truly amazing. I've never had anything quite like it. Layers of their amazingly silky custard with layers of their italian ice (kind of like an icey/slushy baby). and WOW. I can't wait to come back and try more combos.

There are a few tables outside, but it's on state street so not super enticing, but there is TONS of seating inside! There is a drive thru as well for those who want to stay in their car! I will def. be back! GREAT JOB!

This is legit "wooder ice" !!! Tastes just like back in Philadelphia, where the original italian ice hit the USA. Just scoop it up with pretzel and ahhh, summertime. Such a cute place and really friendly employees, we will be back. (Feeling like I'm 12 years old again)

My go to for a swirl custard. Generous servings and friendly customer service.

**Edit: We have been back numerous times. The last time we were there, the gal at the window handed us the tablet to leave a tip. Since we didn't leave one, the portion of custard we received was far less than we normally get for a medium cup. Can only attribute this to the fact we didn't leave her a tip. Her attitude changed as well. For $11 I think I may have to start going somewhere else for custard.
