Hate to leave a bad review but the service is horrible. I come here often and it’s gotten worse. The food is really really good. The service is some of the worst. Bbq sauce is always out. One guy that works there with short hair and the scar on his face needs to hide in a hole if he’s gonna treat people so rudely. I’m hesitant to go back sometimes because I honestly do not like dealing with the employees.

Neighbor Tim's has been an absolutely fantastic restaurant, I've eaten lunch at this location many times the service is always wonderful The food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable for downtown dining.

In addition to going to both Neighbor Tim's locations so may times I've lost count of the most AMAZING brisket In Idaho and arguably in the country (I used to live in Texas) I've also had them cater some event s at my home. This place is a solid 10!! Couldn't recumbent them more. It's extra cool when Tim himself delivers my catering order in person. That's service.

Cool kind of neighborhood ma and pop place. Simple menu of bbq. Get the brisket… super tender. Don’t get the brisket sandwich ( mostly greasy scrapes). Mac and cheese was good. Very friendly service

Ordered the brisket, I got fat and grizzle! No napkins or utensils. Don’t order delivery from these guys, you get screwed.
I came here for dinner around 6:30pm I ordered the brisket and it came out cold, hard and chewy like it had just been sitting out all day. I wasn’t even able to cut it with my knife.

Highly recommend!!! So far, it is the best of the best Brisket i had in States. Im from Bay Area. The bbq is very pricey there. But this place is not pricey, worth it. Brisket is $15 for 1/2lb, baby rack ribs for $17.50 half rack. Very good price!!! We had 1lb of Brisket, half rack of baby rack rib and small soze of potatoes salad for 2 person. Delissssssh.... Definitely we will go back there before we flight back home.
Dont forget bbq sauces, 4 favor... yummy

My friend said “BBQ in Idaho?” And I said “I’m gonna give it a shot.”. It was quiet because lunch had only just started inside the food hall but the service was quick and great. The brisket was moist and flavorful. Bbq beans were delicious and the cole slaw was also really good. I thought the actual sauces were the only lacking part but overall of someone asked me about BBQ in Idaho again I’d remember this place as an argument for a YES.
Got the platter, 2 meat (brisket/pork ribs) with a side of Mac n cheese. Apparently not many people came by this place on Saturday afternoon because the brisket was very dry and Luke warm as were the ribs. I tried to slather bbq sauce on it to make it palatable but even that didn’t work.It looked like the Mac n cheese had been sitting in the pan for quite some time. Unfortunately I would not come back here. Maybe if it was fresh it would have been better but because it had been sitting for hours it was not good at all. Disappointing to say the least!
