I’ve been eating Azteca tacos since around 2008. I mostly purchase from their truck whenever I can and I’ve been to their restaurant a handful of times. Any time I get Azteca (which I each quite a bit) I’m never disappointed - they are very consistent with their food and service! The owner is really friendly and hard working. Azteca is my number one choice of tacos all time!!

If you love salt come here. I am hoping the salt container accidentally spilled in to the taco meat. Carne Asada was more like ground beef with a sauce. Tacos and taco trucks are my favorite food. This was sad.

THIS IS THE REVIEW ONLY FOR THE TACO TRUCK ON STATE ST BY THE CAPITOL BUILDING !!!!! The restaura t might be completely different. The taco truck tacos were simply horrendous. We had just finished eating a few asada tacos at Coalcoman , so we decided to order here a couple asada tacos too so we could compare.... The meat used was ground beef, so salty that I could take just one bite, my wife took 2. Inedible food. I tried a piece of meat without the green sauce ,thinking maybe the sauce was the problem but no, the problem is the meat is low quality and over salted to hide it. Zero stars like frozen yogurt....

Not memorable. Ordered Carne Asada. Came as 2 slabs of grilled salty meat. No steak knife. Typically comes chopped or in strips so you can eat in the tortillas. Rice and beans were decent. Ordered a beer. Had to ask for a glass.

Don't bother. Had to ask the gal if she would take our orders. She was entirely too busy on her phone to take care of the 2 tables she had. It is obvious why there was no lunch crowd on a Friday afternoon.

Good. Portions good, price good, service good. Eat the tacos. This place is a love song to cilantro if you are a salsa and guacamole person. This place isn't life altering but sometimes a warm belly and a happy wallet and a short trip home are.
