It felt like the fact I was picking up an Uber order for someone was frustrating for whomever works the front. Did not acknowledge me when I came in, did not tell me it would be a few minutes, after I stated I was there to pick up she walked off and came back about 15 minutes later with the customer's food in a bag.

Had a wonderful Mother's day meal, ginger beef is unbelievably tender and flavorful, great sweet & sour, Fung Wong Gai is very filling, like a miniaturized cordon bleu. Service is prompt, restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful alternative to fast food Chinese!

If you want a pretend Chinese restaurant then this is the place . I ordered the Saturday Dinner special with Mandarin Chicken and got some horrible version of unedible sweet and sour chicken that was dry and looks to have been cooked a few ours ago at best ?. It came with tasteless bbq pork fried rice and tasteless chow mein. I was looking for a decent Chinese meal and this was just Disgusting food ! I dint give it a 1 star it's a negative 1 star.

Best Chinese food around. I’m really picky about my kung pao chicken and New Garden’s is the best I’ve found in Boise. Staff is so friendly and the portions are huge and reasonably priced. $10.95 for a lunch special and I have lunch for two days. I highly recommend this place!

I am still on the hunt for a good hot and sour soup! Ordered some tonight and was really disappointed. It was super thick and tasted like sweet and sour sauce. It tasted nothing like hot and sour soup. For dinner we had tofu chow fun and beef and broccoli. Both dishes were ok. I got a lot of noodles and tofu in my chow fun. It did lack flavor but a little soy sauce fixed it. The beef and broccoli had a great amount of meat in it. My husband enjoyed it.

We tried the Almond Chicken, Chow Har Q, and Chicken Lo Mein. I personally thought the lo mein could have a little more flavor all though was quite good, the Almond Chicken was pleasing and the Chow Har Q was good as well. The rice with soy only enough - you couldn't taste the soy sauce! Lol ; if using Door Dash for delivery the pricing gets more on the expensive side. We paid $61.25 through Door Dash for these 3 meal portions and that isn't including tip. We were all satisfied but not everyone was with the total cost.

I found two pieces of white zip ties in my take-out special chow mein. I won't be back. If I swallowed them, I could have bled to death.

This is my favorite place for Chinese. I think everyone gets takeout because there’s rarely anyone dining in. The service is what you would expect…short and to the point, but the food is fresh, tasty and piping hot. Always. I recommend the lunch specials for the best prices. You probably won’t regret ordering any of these items: the sweet and sour pork, kung pao chicken, general’s chicken or the won ton war soup. Their fried rice is perfectly seasoned and never dry or greasy. Yum!
