Love this place! Good food, decent service, but it can be a little on the noisy side.

We came here this morning November 15 2024 after looking online to find a cheap place to eat as we're in town to be at St Luke's for our son's treatment of a medical condition. We saw the menu and the prices and that was the whole reason we chose this establishment. Upon entering we were seated immediately and asked if we wanted drinks besides water. I asked if the kids drinks were included with the kids breakfast and the girl seating is didn't know. My daughter had asked for chocolate milk. I told her to please wait on the drinks until we asked the server if they were included. This girl showed up with the chocolate milk anyways. We spoke to the waitress who ended up taking it off the bill. We then looked at the menu and prices did not match what we thought they we're going to be. We ordered , I asked the waitress for a straw. The food showed up after waiting 35 minutes again I asked for a straw. My husband's dish was an absolute joke for what he paid for "Bacon Waffle" We asked the manager if he got hash browns or something besides just the Waffel and the manager said no that's how it is and we could order sides like meats and hash browns. This should of been common sense for our waitress to say, "hey it doesn't come with anything else would you like to order sides. "We had already waited 35 minutes and had a doctor's appointment to get to. We politely told him no thank you. The food was bland and I'm pretty sure the corned beef hash was just ham shredded. Really underwhelming and absolutely not worth what we were charged for. Also they charge for things that should already be included in the meal. Don't waste your money.

And the food and the service was great. I kind of had a dispute with my bill. It cost me more and coffee than the food cost. We were only two people having coffee and it cost me $12 The two meals we had were only $14. We did have two refills but I didn’t know you had to pay an extra price for a refill of coffee. I just would’ve had one cup great place to eat.

We've enjoyed the O.P.H. for many years! The Dutch Baby is awesome, but be prepared to wait longer. They'll usually tell you this when you order. The food and service have always been exceptional! Last visit I tried a Chorizo Omelet, it was incredibly tasty! I'm a huge biscuits and gravy fan, but wanted to try something different. It did not disappoint! Their coffee is great, and so are their mugs. They're more of a pottery style mug, so they give a little more eclectic, down home vibe. Definitely make reservations. Tables fill up fast, and for good reason.

Favorite brunch place for us! While our order is being prepared, we get a bowl or two of fresh fruit (strawberries, peaches, bananas, etc.) with fresh whipped cream for dipping. Heaven in each bite. Fabulous menu with choices to appeal to everyone's personal cravings. Dutch Baby puffy pancake with fresh lemon wedges and a bowl of powdered sugar for one. Irish Omelet with Corned Beef for another. Ham 'n Cheese Omelet for another. My favorite is the Green Chili & Cheese Omelet. Crepes wrapped around fresh peaches - a seasonal treat. Perfectly crispy hashbrowns, soft and tender in the middle. Luscious buttermilk pancakes that almost melt in your mouth. Steaming hot coffee, Mugs of hot cocoa, cool lemonade, and an assortment of sodas. Yummmm! Word of warning... it is super popular, so put yourself on the waiting list (do it online). Service is efficient and friendly, with great teamwork. Five of us ate until bursting (generous portions = leftovers) for <$100. Like I said, it's a favorite brunch spot!
Kid-friendliness: Good variety of kid-friendly options with crayons and a menu on which to color to keep them busy while waiting.

I have seen the pancake house for almost the entire time I have lived in Boise but I have never been! I was so excited to try it for the first time! Service was great! You do have the option to call ahead and place a reservation so you don't have to wait as long sitting in the store for a table. This place is busy! So I would highly recommend.
Afterwards service was very good! Food did not take too long and all staff were very kind and courteous! The mugs are awesome!

Every time I visit this place I find a new yummy breakfast. The crepes are *chef kiss* AMAZING! However, if you're in a rush, probably don't plan on stopping here as sometimes service can take a bit, even when it's not a very busy morning in the dining area.
