We recently visited Outback Steakhouse with high hopes for an enjoyable meal but, unfortunately, left feeling quite disappointed. We started with the Bloomin’ Onion, which is typically a crowd favorite. However, this time it was overwhelmingly salty, making it difficult to enjoy.
For our main course, we ordered steaks cooked medium, but they arrived medium-well, with some areas even cooked to well-done. This overcooking resulted in a lack of juiciness and flavor that we were looking forward to.
Overall, the dining experience was subpar. I genuinely wanted to enjoy the food, but it fell short of expectations. It’s unfortunate, as we were looking forward to a good meal. Hopefully, this was just an off night, but given our experience, it may be a while before we consider returning.
Too bad.

Wow by far the worst food we have ever received from Outback tonight on uber. Steak was raw when ordered medium, lobster was overcooked and chewy, ribs were tough and tasted old. The garlic parm bites were forgotten, aussi fries were forgotten. Horrible horrible meal that we were really looking forward to. This is the last time we will be ordering from outback again and things were so gross I won’t be coming in store anytime soon. Gross. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and it just seems like the quality has gone so far down it’s almost unrecognizable.

Everything was great. We had a fairly large party and that did not affect the service at all. And as always, everyone enjoyed the blooming onion.

Went on Valentine's. Lol big nightmare. Sat in the overfill room? U had to walk outside to get to it while it was snowing. Then the tables we so close to each other that u can't even fit in ur chair comfortable. Ur back is touching someone else. They needed one less table in there and it would be fine. The servers has no space to even clean a table without bumping into our table. The lights kept flickering lol I was hoping power would go out so we could leave the nightmare before dinner was served. Waited about 45 min for food. Which is fine. But the food was cold lol. Like not even warm. Spent 100 $ and left feeling like I would of rather went to Taco Bell. My server was sweet tho. So the issue is with the management I assume for that room to be so over packed and miserable. And the food being cold. U get better steak at Taco Bell tbh. I won't be back. First time and last time. Waste of money.

I didn't have high expectations for American food. I had heard that the only specialty of Boise was potatoes. When I actually tried it, the potatoes were really tasty, and the steak was juicy and had no unpleasant odor, so it was delicious. It may be rude to compare it to the food in London, but the American steak was something I would like to visit again. The staff were kind and explained things in detail to me, who was unfamiliar with the food. I think the quality is such that I would like to visit again next time.

We had an event for Knights of Columbus family dinner here, at the banquet room. For my husband and Init was our first time at this restaurant. We don’t eat out often due to allergies….
This visit was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the exceptional service and hospitality of our servers, Laurie and Karra (so sorry if I got the names wrong!) From the moment we were seated, they went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience, especially for my husband who has celiac disease and other allergies.
Often, dining out with dietary restrictions can be stressful, with limited options and the worry of cross-contamination so that’s why many times my husband makes a decision to not to eat at all and tonight was going to be that case as well. However, Laurie immediately put our minds at ease, assuring us that the chefs would take special care in preparing a safe and delicious meal for my husband. While the rest of us enjoyed our salads, they even brought him celery and olives to snack on – a thoughtful gesture that truly touched us.
The chefs crafted a wonderful off-menu dish for my husband, allowing him to fully participate in the dining experience. It's not often that he gets to enjoy a meal out with confidence and peace of mind. Laurie and Karra’s attentiveness and genuine care made him feel special and included, turning what could have been an isolating experience into a truly enjoyable one.
Beyond the outstanding service, the food itself was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection – a beautiful pink center with a flavorful sear.
This dining experience was a testament to the dedication and teamwork of the entire staff. From our beautiful and wonderful servers, Laurie and Karra, to the talented chefs and the owner who has cultivated such a positive and accommodating environment, thank you!! 🙏🏻
You have turned a simple meal into a cherished memory. We are truly grateful for the experience and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking delicious food and exceptional service.
Thank you and God Bless!

Great place. Location is easy to get in and out of. The service is pretty good as well. However, the food was lacking. The blooming onion was amazing as always, but that's the only good part. The steak wasn't good quality and really lacked flavor. The Cesar salad had to much dressing and no flavor in the dish. The fries were bland as well. I will give it one more chance as I love this chain.

Had a really nice meal with my wife in the bar. Both steaks where cooked and seasoned well, and the service was great. They also had Boneyard RPM on tap, which can be hard to find in Boise. I really enjoyed the bloomin' carrot crunch, I would go back just to have that. I hope it becomes a menu staple, it's amazing.

I won’t even tell you how long we were there before we got food, but once we got it, it was delicious. My table and I felt ignored. But the food was delicious. Steak was perfect so was everything else. I’ll definitely go again but not ask for the same server.
