I have eaten at the Owyhee before and enjoyed it, so tonight was a major disappointment. I was seated promptly and the server was on hand soon after. Good so far. I wanted to savor the oysters: they were tasty and fresh. But before I could finish them, the server had brought the salad: She grabbed the oyster plate and was taking off with it, without asking, so I had to mobilize and grab the last oyster before she could abscond with it. She did not seem to care one way or another. It seems if you want to relax a bit and enjoy, they will just rush you anyway. It was early Thursday evening. They were starting to get busy but they were far from crowded. Then the entree arrived early. I had ordered the steak medium-rare to medium but it was decidedly cooked well done. The server never came back to check on me; she might have been on Mars or painting her nails for all I knew. So I ate it anyway: I was hungry. The wine, at $18, was a puny pour. Of course there were tons of big chunks of squash and yam fries. I was 2 bites from done with the steak when the server finally showed up, but only to see if I wanted anything more. Ridiculous. Obviously, I am in no hurry to go back.

The most consistent food and service. We frequent Owyhee for our nice dates out and happy hour. They have a great salmon burger, ahi tacos, and calamari. I also recommend their 3 course specials they rotate seasonally, especially around Valentine's. Their desserts are wonderful and if they have their smoked salmon chowder, order it for sure! Amazing value overall. You'll be sure to have the best evening out!

Great atmosphere but the food was literally so bad all 4 of our meals were gross the salmon was disgusting and super fishy the burgers had zero flavor and both came out the wrong temps that we asked for, and the veggie burger was gross too. None of us could eat anything but the frys . It sucks too cuz it’s expensive and we were recommended here and it sucks that the drinks were worse too , it was so disappointing.

This place was pretty good! I like their steak, and the shrimp taste great! The clams were alright, I feel like it should have a more buttery taste rather than citrus. That's just my personal preference. Good wine, good bloody mary, nice atmosphere. Veggies were mid and the parking sucks. Overall, It's a really great dinner.

We had a group of seven. Those who ordered steak thought they were quite good. Ordered, medium, rare or rare. I ordered mine rare, and it was pretty medium/well done. When they redid it, they did it very fast and not the effort……But I have to say, everything else was very good. And there au gratin potatoes are amazing. The baked potatoes was great. Everything was great. Just that steak was disappointing. But the other steaks were perfectly done.
