It's a beautiful white-based cafe located downtown. It looks like a chain store, but what is it about? I can eat, drink, and stay for a long time, so I feel calm.

I was at Panera for a quick pickup from ordering online. I had the Margarita Flatbread that I always order and it was really good...as usual. This time I also ordered mac and cheese, and it was very good too. But I ordered something new this time, wild rice soup! OMG, it was SPECTACULAR! I really think it was the best soup I've ever had. I'm going back today for more. Stop in and try it out. You'll be glad you did.

Downtown location is easy to get in and out of. I love thier Fuji apple salad! The salad dressing is so good. Soup is always hot and tasty. Great place to get a good lunch if you're on a time crunch.

Service was fine. Not impressed with the bacon chipotle flatbread. Was too saucy and only had 2 small bites of bacon for the whole flatbread

We come often in the fall for the Autumn Squash soup and throughout the year for the Mac n cheese- this particular location is always welcoming and enjoyable. Kudos to Manager Craig and the rest of the staff!Vegetarian options: Autumn Squash soup

I've been to 5 of the 7 Panera Breads in Idaho and the downtown Boise location is absolutely the best. No other Panera compares and the food is perfect everytime. The GM(General Manager), along with the managers, work hard and model greatness. The GM and managers create a welcoming atmosphere which all the employees emulate. There's so much more that makes this Panera special but I'm writing this review because of the BAKERS. Unique to the downtown Boise Panera is an open floor plan that allows customers to interact with the bakers. It's Panera "Bread" so next time you're in the downtown Boise Panera wink at the bakers for all the hard work making Panera a delicious BREAD company.I want to thank the bakers for baking a mean loaf and putting extra frosting on my sandal.

My mother loves Panera. I have always traveled out of my way if that is what she likes. The people are great. I just have to wonder if the headset is working. Past four visits - EVERY order has been wrong. Soup to sandwich. I have since had to pull over to "check" my wallet & order. Just to get a free cookie every time they messed up. And to circle around the drive thru again.I just had soup delivere. WRONG soup. done

Food quality is great but service was lacking. No utensils or croutons for French onion soup, received a cold soup and croissants.

Today I got a dozen bagels. They were out of half the bagels I ordered. I didn't know what they had available, so I said I would take what they had. Instead of a dozen savory bagels, I got essentially a dozen sweet bagels. That didn't really work for the picnic that the bagels were for making sandwiches on. Not only that, there were two everything bagels in with the cinnamon crunch and chocolate chip, but they weren't separately wrapped. That meant all the bagels tasted like my least favorite flavor: onion/garlic/cinnamonsugar. Yuck. I also ordered the bagels sliced, and only four of them were, which meant making sandwiches on torn apart bagels. I ended up getting 12 bagels instead of the baker's dozen I had paid for, but that was on me for not checking better.

It was so good that I ate there three times in a row. One of those times though was because other places nearby had bad service but not Panera.
