Papa Joe’s is a fantastic restaurant either delicious, home cooked food. My husband and I had dinner here before a musical at The Morrison Theatre. The hostesss/waitress was so friendly. We had a house salad and a Caesar. The creamy Caesar dressing was so good, I could have drank it. The chicken Parm over spaghetti was very good, but the lasagne was to die for! Great wine and beer selection. We can’t wait to come back.

Visiting from Kentucky and I should have known it to eat here because when I walked in there was nobody in there AND it smelled moldy. I had a pizza(lucky pizza) which looked good but didn’t taste great. I tried the “meat lovers pizza” it wasn’t bad and the sage hen pizza, which is a bbq chicken pizza, it was extremely MID. I was couldn’t recommend eating here and I will not be back.

My hubby and I attended a school fundraiser at Papa Joes a few weeks ago and had an amazing time! It was our first time at the restaurant and it was so cozy! The service was especially excellent. We are so grateful to the owners who were willing to host the event that evening to support our wonderful local public elementary school!

I can’t say enough about how amazing this long time LOCAL restaurant is! The owner is an incredible human and gave our school the whole restaurant for one night, so we could host a fundraiser. I mean how amazing is that?!? The staff there that night were so sweet and attentive to our group. They made up a really delicious massive charcuterie board and pizza for our group. You can’t beat Papa Joes pizza it’s so good. After our fundraiser last Friday I have been telling everyone I possibly can that they need to go and support Papa Joes! They went above and beyond for our elementary school. Go support this amazing longtime local Boise restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!!!! THANK YOU PAPA JOES!!!!

Gotta say this place is great. I’ve been many times for dinner and it’s always been awesome. Recently, we held a private event there for a fundraiser for my son’s school. The food was great. The services was awesome and management was wonderful. Sometimes events aren’t the most fun to work (as an employee) and they were so great and helpful. Not to mention, you gotta love a local business helping being part of a community. Great location, good parking, great service and food. Don’t hesitate, just go. Support local!

We attended Casino Night, a fundraiser for our local elementary school, and had a blast! The food was great, the atmosphere was very fun. Turns out the owner not only donated the venue for the night, but walked around as a cocktail waiter for the patrons at the tables, bringing drinks and adding to the vibe. We had a brief conversation with him. Business just hasn’t been the same since Covid. This mom and pop has a special place in our hearts now. We’ll be sure to visit more often.
Kid-friendliness: We have taken our children here when they were smaller, and will again now.

My coworker & I visited this fine establishment while traveling to Boise for a conference. They had the best pasta and tiramisu I've ever had in my life. I'd even venture to say it is to die for. I don't know how my coworker ate her plate so quickly... I was digging in to my shrimp scampi, and the next moment I look up, her plate is clean! I was impressed.
The atmosphere is rustic and charming, the wait staff is kind and attentive, the portions are perfect, and the prices aren't bad at all. If you're in town, you've got to stop by... you're missing out otherwise.

This place is the worst.We've tried several times to go and eat and been denied several times. Just tonight, there was a so called a "charity" event. There was no sign stating the restaurant was reserved. I fact the open sign was lit up. We got turned away like trash. If it was really a charity event. We could have donated to the charity, but no, this low brow established drove us out like vermin. I would never recommend going here.
