The downtown Boise operation is very poorly run. The owners do not support the staff. I felt so sorry for them. The quality of the food and the atmosphere is incredibly disappointing. I've been twice. The first time it was terrible but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because maybe it was just a busy night. I returned to watch a football game and apparently it's just how this awful business is run. Not going back.

I really like Parillas and have been going there for years. I normally get the chanco pork tacos with the tomatillo salsa. I’ve always tasted a moldy taste and thought maybe it was the tomatillos. I’ve tried several different meats and sauces now and tonight…. Sure enough it’s the seasoning on the pork. I’m not sure who tried and tested this recipe, but it absolutely tastes like mold.
