Got two burrito bowls and they were out of rice, instead of asking us if we want to wait for more the guy proceeds to speed us down the line, after he finished the bowls and left them at the end of the counter, about 25 flies were sitting waiting for our food. I get that it’s fly season but letting customers’ food sit out for a second while flies land all over it is pretty gross. Maybe we cover the to-go bowls right away after they’re made from now on? Usually this place is great. But this guy just seemed unbothered and ready to get out of there. Also found questionable pieces of a mystery ingredient in one of our bowls, could have been plastic, I really wasn’t sure it just didn’t seem appetizing

This is a great place for a quick lunch or dinner. We come here at least once a week. Service is fast, friendly and you walk away satisfied. Alec makes the best ground beef nachos and salmon salad! My husband loves the tacos! Yummm.. You’re always greeted with a smile and you always feel welcome.

My wife and I love this place and come here very frequently. We decided on the rare occurrence of just putting in an online order for dinner instead of going in. Everything was timely and well prepared, however, the staff decided to leave us a message in the receipt of “Leave a tip next time.” My wife and I tip every time we are in here, even dining out. This felt very unprofessional and who’s to say we weren’t leaving a cash tip when picking the order up like we intended. This is a real bummer for such a great place.

Location much more convenient than Hyde Park and frequently less hectic! Food is equally great! Fast and friendly service at the bar or food line. I always get a classic burrito, but the Jambalaya is also very good. Dollar tacos are solid too for the price! Chips a bit on the salty side sometimes, but very dippable!
Parking: Parking depends on the day and time. After 5 but before 8ish on weekdays, usually not too hard to find a spot nearby.

The location was half empty on a Friday evening. My burrito was ok, rice and the beans were bland. Didn’t get much shrimp in my burrito. The staff was friendly and the fun bubbly place but they need to work on the season of the food.

This place is my go to place for taco Tuesdays. Even better, they double down and do taco Thursdays too. Heckin’ righteous. I got 6 tacos this week for $7.49. Can you believe? Their burritos are not to be dismissed either. Their “wrap of khan” is something pretty special. Peanut sauce, bamboo shoots, and a chili-bean smear. Yum! (The beer is cheap too) Patio seating is available.
