I got the General Tso's chicken lunch, and Shrimp Tempura roll ordered to go. Food was completed on time given and communication was great when my friend was waiting in the lobby for the order for pickup. Food was hot and delicious. I could really tell time, care, effort and love for cooking was put in to the food. The chicken was crispy and flavorful with the sauce, the gyoza was tasty and texture was phenomenal, ham friend rice was amazing paired with the egg drop soup. It all tasted fresh too. Amazing.

The last time I was here, I gave the food 3 stars. Unfortunately, things have deteriorated. I ordered vegetable tempura, which was fair to middling. In the spirit of Peking, I ordered the Kung Pao chicken which was just this side of edible. The dish has an egg roll that I could only stomach one bite of and two fried dumplings that tasted like grit. There being a pepper emoji next to it on the menu, I was expecting some spice. It had zilch and I had to ask for hot sauce. In the spirit of Tokyo, I also ordered a yellowtail roll. This one was a kick in the tonsils because the fish was chewy, the consistency of a half ripe pear! Thankfully, only 2 of the pieces were like this. The rolls are currently 30% off at $4.55. I suppose I ought to be happy I still have my teeth at that price. To top off the ambiance, when I walked in, there was a table that hadn't be bussed and only after I'd sat myself across from it that the somewhat lackadaisical but pleasant enough waitress came around to clear it. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but just about the only good thing here is that I did not see any giants rats scurrying about. Cold comfort indeed. 2 stars, stay away.

Husband and I went there for dinner very disappointing. I ordered miso soup which was lukewarm, ordered a variety of sushi rolls and the plate was totally undecorated, unlike any Japanese food I had ordered anywhere else. Pickle Ginger was very bland. The tea was good! The booths are so high it's really hard to get the attention of the servers. Definitely would not go there again for the money. Their sign outside said Sushi half price but is only the special sushis that are overpriced anyway. For the money go someplace that only serves Japanese food and you will get beautifully decorated plates and hot food.

Me and my wife have gotten take out, and their sushi is great! Lots of fish and nice large sushi that taste to par with other more expensive restaurants. The deal on 50% sushi is an extra plus.

Great food, generous portions, reasonably priced. Their fried rice is delicious and I love that their dinners include soup, gyoza and an egg roll. Highly recommend the desame chicken and cashew chicken.
My husband and I love coming here. The staff is very friendly, the sushi is delicious and at a great price too. They currently have all of the special sushi rolls at 50% off — spread the word!
