I came in with my family for a couple drinks and a place to relax and chat, and was blown away by this saloon. The bartender, Samuel, was beyond kind and funny, and truly made our night one of the most memorable in a very long time. Samuel was attentive to all the customers and made a delicious mocktail as well! The prices were also amazing (we went during happy hour) and the vibe of the place was humble but entertaining, with large paintings and great booth seating. I can't recommend this place more, and will certainly be returning time and time again!

Great Place!!! Sunday night we had 8 of us out celebrating & having fun, we walked in the Pengilly Saloon and WOW!! Great band playing, great drinks, everyone was super friendly! The bartender was amazing, people at the bar were friendly, lots of dancing with great music! Highly recommended, do yourself a favor and swing in for a few drinks, or pool in the back. Thank you for a great time!

Really dissapointed.
I gave $2 to this short, fat bartender with a beard in exchange for quarters. He takes the $2 and wants to pretend he's stealing it from me. A minute later when he returns with my quarters, he tells me he just likes messing with people. So I'm like "Ok, whatever dude" and I walk away. So this little gremlin starts yelling at me and following me as I walk away. He catches up with me and is like super in my face, trying to shake my hand, saying "HEY, I'M JUST MESSING AROUND! NO NEED TO BE A D**K!" and I'm like "Ok, dude. It's cool. Thank you." and he takes off. A minute later he comes charging up to me again with the $2 I gave him, hands it to me and is like "GET THE F**K OUT! GET THE F**K OUT!"
Wow, dude. Sorry (not sorry) that I did not go along with your stupid joke about stealing my money. Should fire that Napoleon-Complex POS.

this place is usually pretty crowded, but understandably so. the live music is definitely the highlight of this bar, so make sure you find a place to sit to enjoy it. the bartenders are friendly and attentive to your needs with fairly fast service.
