Everything was fantastic. The pork shank was tender and the crust on it was so good. The papperdalle was perfect al dente and the seasonal veggie dish was the best carrots I've ever had. The drinks were great and service friendly. It's also a pretty good place to bring kids because of the many booths and buzzing atmosphere.

Where do I start?
My husband and I decided to try Percy, because we have our favorite spots around the valley and honestly, I feel like the last year or so, we haven’t loved what we’ve been experiencing. We had never even heard of this place- we simply just googled highest rated restaurants near me, and this was at the top. After a quick peeksies at the menu… we decided to give it a go. It’s about 45 minutes from where we live so it was kinda funny that it showed up in our search, but was actually worth the drive (and the stress of finding downtown parking if that causes you existential dread like it does me!)
I’m gonna preface this by saying we don’t get to go out much without the kids. When we do… we kinda want it to be worth it.
From the beginning, you can tell it’s a hot spot. It’s cute, hidden, busy. I highly recommend making a reservation- we did not, but there was open seating at the bar. So thankful for that! The bar drinks were awesome and not traditional. The beer selection was a nice change as well. We got drinks & dishes recommended by those helping us- which, there were so many attentive people behind the bar. They were on top of their game.
We each absolutely loved the dishes we got, and were so impressed with the constant service. This place is great, and totally deserving of the reputation they are quickly building. We will be back!

Great dinner spot, one of my favorites in the Boise area. Never dissapoints! Food is always fresh, the environment is warm and cozy and service is always AMAZING. Last night, we celebrated a birthday, and our server was FINAMINAL. She was amazing and we somehow forgot to grab her name! We came in with a group of 12 and they were able to fit us all in. She took such great care of us. We loved celebrating her here, some of our friends were here for the first time, and everyone enjoyed the food and environment. The sourdough pappardelle is truly one of the best dishes they serve, some of our other friends tried the Organic Rotisserie Chicken which is a good plate to share and the Chicken Parmesan sandwich was also delicious. Had to end the night with a chocolate cake, apple cobbler, and pumpkin cheesecake. Thank you for making it special for our friend, we loved celebrating her with you.

My wife's Salmon was good but the steak was boring, no flavor. I do better pan frying at home. I was disappointed for the price. Salad dressing was wierd as well, we didn't eat it but possibly an acquired taste.

Sadly, this place was a bit disappointing. From the start, we were greeted and seated in a timely manner. A kind lady came to fill us up with water, but after that, it was a bit underwhelming.
We waited nearly 6 minutes for another person to arrive to get our drink/food order. It was such an awkward wait time, I told my husband if no one came within the next 2 minutes, we were just going to walk out. A minute later our server Megan came. Her interaction and questions were distant and she seemed confused/distracted.
After that, our orders were not accurate. Appetizers came before cocktails, cocktails didn't come together, and the appetizer delivered wasn't even what we ordered. A manager noticed our issues and came to discuss them which resulted in us getting a different server. Spencer took over. He was accommodating, and proficient with the remainder of our meal and with resolving the wrong/missing items we experienced so far.
The short rib entree is meh, pretty similar to a homemade pot roast. Nothing different to set it apart. The Percy burger was... just a burger. Again, there is nothing to set it apart. Crispy cauliflower wasn't crispy but tasted good. So on and so on. There was nothing that really "wow-ed" me. I was given a complimentary cake slice for the experience which was a kind gesture, but again, didn't change the overall.
I am sure the service, in general, is very well executed, and Spencer helped show that, however, Megan set a tone that made the rest of the meal and experience unpleasant.
Would I come back? No. Would I refer to anyone? Probably not. I think the hype of a new place has fogged the mediocre dishes and service standards.

YUM!!!! There are not many places that I say “wow” after a bite of food. This was one of them. We got the apricot glazed half chicken and the trout with pickled fennel. It was delicious. Service was great. I can tell they are orderly there. The 4 stars is because I think they need a better wine-by-the-glass selection. California wine will never outshine international wine. I got the Pinot Grigio, and I’ve had much better before. There was also no Riesling by the glass, my German heart was disappointed!

The phrase that best describes Percy is, "Lipstick on a Pig".
The service and atmosphere are great. The space is wonderful, and at first glance it absolutely feels like the type of place that can reasonably charge $40 for an entree.
Then the food comes. Everything is some combination of starchy, salty and mushy... appetizers and entrees. After a quick glance into the kitchen and re-examination of the menu, it becomes clear that they are upselling slightly elevated pub fare. The food quality is like a prize winning Chili's or Outback Steakhouse; there's salt and butter aplenty to make it work, but everything is fat fingered and blech if you compare it to a restaurant with a proper chef and kitchen staff.
Maybe $20 entrees would be fair, assuming you don't care about how it will make you feel? It's not offensive and doesn't quite feel like a bait and switch, but I would never recommend this place to someone I respect.
Bottom line: There is zero value or interestingness at Percy. For the money you can easily do better with a short walk.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! Ambiance, food, drinks, and service. So good.
They are also absolutely wonderful with allergies (we have a family member with allergies to peanut, treenut, dairy, and egg).
Highly recommend.
Our favorites are spinach artichoke dip, chicken sandwich, sticky ribs, forbidden rice, the burger, and my littles enjoy the options on the kids menu.
Vegetarian options: They do use beef product on the fries, but I know they have a lot of other options.
Dietary restrictions: They were able to accommodate a dairy, egg, and nut allergy.
Parking: There is a lot available nearby to park in for free after 6 pm and on weekends. Check the website for the details.
Kid-friendliness: My kids love it here! Good fries, pasta, rotisserie chicken.

Delicious dinner at Percy. It was my first visit. I loved their Old Fashioned and had the rotisserie chicken for dinner. It was amazing. Our friends also shared chocolate cake along with cheesecake. I can’t wait to go back!
