Clearly mentioned vegan options - tons of them! I tried the spicy noodle soup with steamed tofu and soy chunks and it was delicious! Spring rolls were amazing too! #Veganuary Updated from previous review on 2025-01-28

The service was awesome, the food was alright, but the portions of meats were small. For example, the spring rolls looked like there were four pieces of shrimp, but there were only two shrimp because each shrimp was cut in half to give the illusion of four pieces of shrimp. It made me laugh because I've never seen that before.

This was our first time at Pho nominal in Boise. It was 5:30 & they had a small crowd but were not busy. We order the #2 & #4 Beef Pho, it has NO Flavor at all! Pho is all about the broth for us. Their was no depth or rich beef Flavor to the broth. Mine was supposed to have ginger in it, however I only found 1 or 2 slivers. I had order extra but didn't get it. Then I tried 3 times to get the attention of the server but to no avail! Our server never came to check on us! Both my husband could not finished this taste-less Pho. So we went to the counter to pay. We feel robbed of $43.00! I don't know how they keep there doors open.

I used to love this place but the new wait staff has made the service so bad to the point we aren't coming back!

Exceptional Pho, my absolute favorite to order with wonderful balanced flavor in the broth and ingredients. Also always quick to fill the order.

Ordered the large (P2) flank steak pho.

Order included exactly 2oz beef, and not one gram more. The included veggies, basil, onion, bean sprouts were also equally anemic quantity, barely covering the bottom of the small container and sandwich bag. The 1/4 teaspoon of plumb sauce was the insult that spurred this review. For a 'large', this was ~32oz broth, 8oz noodles, 2oz meat, and 2oz of veggies, left much to be desired.
The broth taste met expectations (which was now very low), but I don't think I'll be back as I've had far better pho.

P S. The garlic chili sauce really helped.

I got the noodle bowl with pork, it was mostly fat and the pieces that actually had meat tasted days old. I have eaten here many times. It seems the quality is not near as good as it has been in the past.

I am a person who enjoys Vietnamese pho. Here, Vietnam's unique soup and taste are served well. There is a lot of quantity for the price. Highly recommended. Wow.

Ordered online it was absolutely horrible the killer combo had limp vegetables no flavor and skimpy on the fish sauce. Will take take extra time to get bun down town. So don't recommend this place it's turning into pho Tay like the last place
