I’m not sure what this place was before how it’s been but I just randomly walked in here with my wife and the staff was very accommodating and not only that so far pulled the most balanced espresso shot in Boise/nampa area. These guys had it dialed in. Delicious!!!!
Price point. It’s hard to compare prices to Boise standard. Because Boise standard tends to still cater to over roasted sugary drinks. While that is changing, and isn’t representative of all Boise I think some of the low star reviews are more of reflection on people not understanding the third wave specialty coffee roasting scene. More labor, more hours in and higher quality cost more. Your drip won’t be the cheapest. The espresso will cost more. That’s just basics of economy.
Anyways I enjoyed it very very much.

Great coffee. The espresso beans are nicely roasted, not harsh and oily like other places. The pour over options are great. The pour over I had rivaled my favorite Panama geisha. They have a cute little pine newspaper. They also have beans for sale.
Pine is one of the best coffee shops in Boise!
Great staff, quality coffee(seasonal drinks are top tier), convenient parking and an inviting atmosphere. I remember my first time visiting Pine, the owner was doing some work on the lights and asked if I could switch seats. No biggie! He then came back after with a gift for the inconvenience. I was so impressed by the gesture. You can’t beat quality coffee and kind people.

A newer addition to Boise’s coffee scene, Pine is nestled just outside downtown Boise.
Pine brings that easy, modern-retro charm with it: light, airy interiors, a spacious layout, and a sun-soaked patio that makes you want to linger. Inside, you’ll find people deep in work mode alongside quiet one-on-one conversations between friends, family, or colleagues. It’s the kind of space that feels calm and intentional, without trying too hard.
From what we gather, manager Brian has a finely tuned palate and a deep knowledge of coffee.

I stopped into Pine Coffee after my doctor's appointment today. I have passed them a few times going home from work but today I had a couple extra minutes before I headed to work so I stopped in to grab my afternoon caffeinated beverage.
Parking on this area is so much more convenient than parking in the heart of downtown. I got myself a front row spot that was nicely shaded. That shaded spot is prime parking! The first thing you notice about the joint is the big windows of this venue. I love all the views you can enjoy while sipping on your drink from inside. And I appreciate the tables they had outside. You can enjoy your drink out in the nice weather like some of their customers were doing.
Walking in, this venue is small. I actually love the size of it, it's quite personal. There is a big coffee bar you can sit at by the espresso machine. There were plenty of tables to chill at. And the big windows let in so much natural lighting. I love the simplicity of this space, it's not overwhelming like some shops are downtown.
I was greeted by a handsome face behind the counter. I ordered my usual drink, a small iced americano with room for cream with him. I did ask for their sugar free options but none were available. The sweet barista did offer to make a honey syrup for my drink and I took her offer on it! I'll take honey any day.
My drink was fabulous. It was perfectly balanced in espresso, water, honey and half and half. I did add my own packet of sweetner for a little extra kick of sweetness. I do like my drinks a little sweeter but I don't want the extra syrup so it's perfect. They made me a great cup of coffee!
I wish this joint was a little closer to the salon I work at. I walk to a lot of different coffee spots by us and Pine would totally be one I'd hit up. I will have to leave my house a little earlier so it gives me a couple extra minutes to stop by this place to get my morning drink. I look forward to stopping by for more afternoon pick me ups soon.

This is the best place to get coffee in Boise. This is my special place and I love everything about this coffee shop, the staff, the variety of pour overs, their specialty coffees and don't forget their amazing matcha. I love you Pine. You're so important in my life!

Decent tea, but the website still lists last year’s summer specials. It’s pretty uninviting inside, lots of flies in the windows, and an incredibly limited menu.

This place is such a hidden gem! Coffee is phenomenal, the baristas are very kind and knowledgeable. I got a grilled cheese, it was so yummy!! Only wish it had some bacon or sumn in it. Can’t wait to visit again 🙌
