Last night (July 24, 2025), our peaceful Idaho Israel Alliance meet-up at Push & Pour Coffee on S. Latah St. was disrupted by a group of aggressive anti-Israel agitators. Though we had notified the café in advance and were simply enjoying our first monthly gathering, these individuals showed up shouting hostile slogans—including “death to Israel,” “death to the IDF,” and “you aren’t welcome in Idaho”—while repeatedly trying to provoke a confrontation. Despite our calm and respectful conduct, the café employee asked our group—not the disruptors—to leave, stating, “We don’t support your cause and you aren't welcome here.” We complied without fuss. The agitators remained until Boise Police arrived and professionally trespassed them from the property. We’re sharing this because no one should be harassed or removed from a business for meeting peacefully—or for being Jewish, which is exactly what this felt like. We thank Boise PD for their respectful handling of the situation and remain committed to civil discourse, mutual respect, and the freedom to assemble.- IIA.
This place is amazing. However. The last few times Ive been in there I have felt unwelcome. I thought that maybe it was just me or that I had done something. However, another person that I know who goes there told me that he has also been feeling unwelcome. There are maybe two or three baristas who are friendly (one of them a tall smiley girl and another guy who makes sandwiches). Everyone else, not so much.

There's just so much coffee, art, and nice wood around here that I 100% forgot that the building was totally built as a car care/repair shop. Huh. Would ya look at that. Great job! (Really makes ya think)

Great fireplaces. If you’re into outdoor gas powered fireplaces with small rocks in them, this is your place.
Great coffee and vibe, but I would skip the food. I had the breakfast sandwich and the flavor was pretty good, but it was all an off putting texture (soft and mushy).
Again, great coffee and vibe. Just get food somewhere else :)

I am always on the hunt for a good evening coffee shop to work at. Most close early, but to my surprise Push & Pour stays open until 9pm EVERY night! Amazing.
Tonight is my first time in, and here's my take. In a cute reuse area with an impressive outdoor dining scene. Big firepit and roll up doors. *makes note to def. come back in spring & summer.*
Upon entering it's a good vibe, dim lights, lots of power outlets (yay!) and a nice menu to order from. The girl working the counter was okay friendly. Not overly - but fine. She poured a beautiful cappuccino. There are a lot of tables crammed REALLY close together and not a lot to absorb the sound, so it is LOUD in here when it is busy. In addition, the music is also playing super super loud. Good thing I had airpods to drown everything out. Great for them for being busy!!!
All in all, I will def. be back since their hours work so great with my schedule!!

Cashier's are so beyond rude and unfriendly every time I get my coffee each morning I just dread interacting with their snobbiness. I keep putting up with it because I like the coffee, but honestly, $7 each morning to be given the stank eye and stared at while I'm expected to give a tip and then not even a thank you. No hello, no smile, no "thanks for coming" nothing. Why do I bother. Get over yourselves hipsters, you're not that cool. You know what's cool? kindness! xo

Best latte ever. The transition of foam into coffee was out of this world. Smooth as a sunset. Best barista ever, too!
Much like Pie Hole downtown, worthy of a Kevin Smith film script (you had to be there)

We’re in town visiting family and Push & Pour was the fifth coffee shop we’ve visited—best coffee we’ve had in the Boise area!
My husband and I each got cappuccinos with whole milk—the milk was well steamed and textured, exactly what I hope for from a third wave coffee shop.
My father in law and sister in law got a drip coffee and iced oat milk matcha, respectively—each said their drinks were good.
We went in the late afternoon and there was only one barista working, she CRUSHED it! Great customer service and skillful at drink making. The shop was full of people, yet she was calm and happy.
We’ll be back!
Excellent matcha latte.

My go to drinks from Push and Pour are either their matcha or chai and they are always AMAZING!! My favorite matcha combo has to be their iced oat milk matcha with brown sugar and honey! For a chia, I recently went with a hazelnut and it was to DIE for! But honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything! Definitely recommend!
It was a beer tasting event.
