I just came in for a coffee and burrito to go. The server came out with my burrito in a plastic container. I politely asked her if she could have the cook wrap my burrito in tin foil because I have a 10-15 min drive. She came back and said no, the cook said it’ll stay warm enough!! What!!! How absolutely rude. What disgusting service!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would and I’d still feel like I was being generous.
I paid almost twenty dollars for a basic breakfast burrito and a drip coffee (poured myself)… which already felt like daylight robbery. But the real kicker? They automatically set a minimum 25% tip on the receipt. Barely a choice. Just “surprise you’re tipping us 25% whether we earn it or not.”
And here’s the ironic part: if you’re going to demand a quarter of my bill as a tip, at LEAST know who the burrito is for when it comes out. I stood there watching them look around the café like they were trying to solve a mystery worthy of a crime show. It’s a breakfast burrito, not a missing person. (By the way they gave it to someone else 🤨) good god Twenty dollars. Forced 25% tip. Zero attention to the actual human who paid for it. Thx Rooted. If you’re looking for overpriced food, automatic guilt tipping, and the thrill of wondering whether your order will ever find you congratulations, you’ve found the perfect spot. 👍

I liked the place itself. So much quieter than the coffee shop down the road, and with spare, matter-of-fact decor. The Americano coffee itself was blah, however. Tasted thin, as though either the grind was too coarse, the tamp too light, or the espresso machine too eager for a 30-second shot.
