My girlfriend and I were visiting Boise last weekend (a favorite quick trip from our hometown of Salt Lake) and, after a hot day of playing in the refreshingly cool Boise River, were hungry for a hearty meal that we could take back to our campsite near the Greenbelt. We’d had takeout Thai our first night, Korean fusion at a greenbelt spot the second, and not being strangers to good Middle Eastern cuisine, knew that something along THAT line could fit the bill for satisfaction....

Small little food truck in a parking lot that sells delicious food and has fantastic service! Sal came out and gave us complimentary water and small dessert for our first time there. We got to chat with him, and you can tell he's really passionate about providing amazing authentic food that he grew up with. I got the beef plate while my friend got the chicken & beef plate. The food was delicious! Sal said he likes to serve portions that will be enough to have leftovers...
