The restaurant was decorated very well, I love the atmosphere. I never had kimchi ramen before and I'm scared to eat it anywhere else because theirs was SO GOOD! The service was really attentive and came to check on us several times, but it didn't feel like hovering. We came in towards closing but the staff all had smiles for us and they seemed genuinely happy to answer our questions.

My Partner and I love Shogun, its honestly feels like a community coming in here, from the servers, chefs, and even customers it feels like a family. Joe (owner) and his staff are always so accommodating and the customer service from everyone is amazing. The sushi have excellent options and all taste unique. Sake have great choices. The dinner and lunch specials are perfect for two or one depending on how hungry you might be, and the price point is beyond fair. Cant recommend this place enough!

Always been able to just walk-in and get a seat at the bar. Staff are very professional and friendly. The food is fresh, especially the sushi of course, and the portions are good. The atmosphere is laid back, just not much seating other than the wrap around bar and a few tables as it is a very small place, which is to be expected for a sushi bar.

Just ate dinner here. The food and the service SUCKED!! Not once did the wait staff check to see if I needed anything but checked on others. The teriyaki beef sucked and the salad had ranch or blue cheese dressing which also sucked! This is not your typical tasty and good quality Japanese restaurant. Would never return again!!
