The service was good. The waitress was pleasant, but i couldn't hear anything she said because the music was so loud (but no complaints as it states they would turn it up if anything said). We ordered burgers with the parmesan fries (sold separately from the burger). My burger was so swamped with "secret sauce" that it was too messy to eat. My husband's burger was okay. All in all, overrated for a $60 lunch

Outstanding like always! Food is awesome, place was packed and our large group only waited a couple minutes. Boss hog burger and shake was fantastic. We stop here every time we come to Boise!

Excellent PB&J hamburger- cooked exactly as ordered- thanks to the big guy at the grill! Thank you for supporting our communities fallen officers family! We will return because you supported them, for that reason alone!

The food was great. Watch for the big guy in the kitchen - best burger I have had here.

Great food, nice outdoor seating with bar stools, fancy shakes. The service was quick and we were checked upon multiple times. Something to note: The portion size is smaller than expected. Burgers do not come with sides.

We were greeted right away and sat and a table, we ordered a few drinks... they don't have a bar just their premade cocktails and beer. We ordered the bacon burger and a plain cheeseburger for my daughter (literally meat and cheese), as well as tempura green beans and fries. The burgers are 1/4 lb. wagyu and ground beef, it was a huge patty and very well cooked. There was a bit too much pepper on the patties, and you couldn't taste the candied bacon with all the other flavors. Service was a bit slow and took a while to cash out and be checked on. The location is nice, it is a cute small local place. Kids are allowed, but to my knowledge there is no kid menu. Overall, it was a decent place with reasonable prices.

This place is seriously so cool! My husband and I stopped in for the first time today, we're new to the area from Texas. Everything we had was fantastic; the pineapple cider, 1/2lb burgers, bucket of fries, rosemary candied bacon, and 2 giant milkshakes. We can't wait to come back because everything was top notch! Our waitress Gabby was so helpful and provided us lots of recommendations! Thanks for your help Gabby!

I used to love Sids. Terrible service and policy make it so I'll never go back. The food isn't worth it and the competition in Downtown Boise is way better anyway. My party of 4 were seated immediately. It's never busy like it once was cause the gimmick has worn off and competition is growing fast. We were sat at a table comfortable for two at best. When we asked for a bigger table we were DECLINED because those tables were reserved for parties of 6... that didn't show up for over any hour. We watched. When it was slammed this policy would make sense. It was SLOW AT 530 on a Friday. They did find us a bigger table around the corner and away from everyone which I actually liked better anyway. So all was well. Still, as people our age do, we were discussing the policy and how annoying the staff was and how the owner should empower their people to make more logical choices in the moment. Apparently the bus boy was having a bad day. What happened next blows my mind still, now the next day. No reason for him to even enter the conversation, but he hollered across the small space for all to hear... "Listen if you are so mad, you're welcome to leave!" We're adults. We know that. We have a choice. Thank you. Well, I immediately took him up on the "offer" and you know what? As we were leaving this punk kid keeps RUNNING HIS MOUTH!! Like, why? We weren't talking to him to begin with. We were going to drop a stupid amount of money for apps, burgers and beer at our now just-fine size table. But because we commented on the policy being outdated and silly you want us to leave AND you want to throw shade when we immediately leave!? What was going to come of this in his mind I wonder? That he would have caused a customer to cower and shamefully sit and wait? Then eat, then pay the overpriced bill? It's just WEIRD. It gets weirder. Chest to chest this kid gets up in my face after I pointed out his misstep from a few feet away. He starts blurting how they have many other customers that will take our place (just not till long after we were gone? It wasn't busy still at 830) and their great reviews will swallow my poor opinion up whole, and they don't need us... amongst a room of 30 or so patrons - what a ridiculous scene he caused! What the hell man? Where did this come from? Why would that be necessary? No surprise he wouldn't share his name and the waitress response said it all in the end as she apologized for his behavior and that she didn't mean to cause such a problem... "but the policy..." smfh leaving. The location isn't great like the Village. It's a revolving door of similar restaurants and Sid's will be the next. Unfortunately due to terrible staffing decisions and policies like this. Look me up. I don't give bad reviews hardly ever. A bad day, or a bad plate doesn't warrant it in my opinion. Being threatened by an employee inviting themselves into my conversation is where I draw the line I guess.

Ok place. Nothing special. Wait staff is really slow food is ok they try to over present it.

What's the best thing that everyone wants to cure a hangover? Another beer, some bacon and good fried food. What's the last thing I want when I'm hungry and hungover and craving Sid's Garage's eggceptional deviled eggs? Papa Roach blaring at 150 decibels right over my head.

Honestly, we live right down the street and want to come here all the time.. but we just can't cause the music is too loud. Not sure why they're unwilling to part ways with it ‍

After we had placed our order, maybe 10 minutes after the music volume just about doubles from what it was, making it too loud to enjoy our meal, thus I really can't say the food was great since we (my party of 5) ate it fast just to get out. I had requested the volume to be turned down but with a little indifference the waiter said he would get in trouble if he adjusted the volume, he offered no help. In all, I can say, don't go, unless it's for pickup only.

Oh my, what a place. I don't think IHave ever paid so much for a burger and a shake. But oh how good they were. Server recommendations were spot on and we left the place in a food coma. Highly recommend visiting. Come hungry and bring your wallet!
