The place looks great. The cupcakes look amazing. I got the pumpkin cheesecake cupcake. It was good, but I think they forgot the pumpkin in the mix. I was super excited about it, but the frosting tasted almost like regular cake frosting & no pumpkin.. the 3 cheese cake bites on top were good.. Maybe I'll try a different one if I go back.

Exceptional cake is my absolute favorite dessert, but my standards are very high so I was thrilled when i found Small Cakes! Their cakes are not only moist but also have really good flavor. And the icing is delicious - excellent flavor!! I've tried many of their varieties and have never been disappointed. Small Cakes is the very best in Boise!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I called these guys a week before I needed the cake, not expecting them to be able to accommodate. As last minute as it was, they fit me in and were able to have it ready asap!
My boyfriend is celiac and they took care of it no problem! He said it’s the best cake he’s ever seen.
On top of that, the cake tasted SO GOOD. Usually any GF cake is dry and just “ok”. But this one is actually better than my homemade GF cake recipe, and I never thought that day would come.
Also, all I asked for was a plain chocolate cake and told them I’d be putting fishing theme decor on it myself. When I saw this cake, I was SO EXCITED! Without request, they decorated the sides of the cake and it was perfect!!
I’m blown away with the service and quality of this cakery. Great prices too! I will definitely be coming back, HUGE THANK YOU Smallcakes!!!!

The chocolate peanut butter cupcake I had today was so delicious and the baker was very friendly! It’s a good thing I don’t deliver on this route more often I wouldn’t be able to fit my uniform. Thank you again!

With so many flavor options the cupcakes were not clearly not fresh. The frosting was hard and cake was flaky and dry. Flavor was okay, but not as described. Almond cake & lemon almond frosting were just vanilla. Incredibly disappointing for the $5 price. However it smelled delicious and there was lots of pink! Very colorful business.

Placed an order online to have delivered to my daughter for her Birthday. Unfortunately, there happened to be a mix up and they didn’t receive my order. A quick call and it was all figured out. Wasn’t the shops fault, but they still went above and beyond to make sure my daughter got her delicious goods! Michelle was awesome! And even through in a little extra for the confusion. Super happy, will definitely use them again!

This place is like walking into the heart of a sweet shop with all the bells and whistles. Walked in and my nose just woke up and said why have you waited so long to take me here. The colors was so very vivid kind of like Willy wonky choc factory. Ice cream is there as well. They make cakes to order as well as gourmet cup cakes and a cup of Joe to go.

Beautiful cupcakes-love looking at them-but I didn't enjoy eating them. They were flat taste-wise, very sweet, and over frosted. The frosting and cake combo didn't compliment each other.

I really want to love these cupcakes since my favorite cupcakery closed down and this one is near my work. But, they are consistently too sweet and fall apart. The bakery is adorable and the presentation is awesome. I just think they need to make a couple of adjustments to the recipes.

Love this place! Best cupcakes ever! We always get them for my daughters birthday. They even offer gluten-free which are the best I've ever had! Highly recommend

TASTIEST gluten free cupcakes. So grateful for the gf options. Huge cupcake, I had chocolate peanut butter and it was fantastic. A little on the pricey side- paid almost $6 for one GF cupcake. But it won’t stop me from going back!
