Breakfast is served until 10 AM. They open at 10 AM. It is literally impossible to get breakfast here even though it’s listed on the menu. Make it make sense. This place can’t close soon enough. Hopefully whatever replaces it won’t have forbidden menu items one can only dream of ordering
Menu is significantly reduced… I would not eat here again. Service is usually not great either. The self check out kiosks (3) were all out of service.
Prompt. Well intended service. Great prices.
Like their vegetarian hamburger, the breakfast egg was decidedly mediocre.
I arrived during off-peak hours (3:40 p.m.). Kiosks were down. Service was trying to keep up, but poor Dinesh had no help up front while food piled up at the window.
The food was bad. Fries were old and stale, cold. Burger was undercooked, cold, and poorly assembled.
I thought Smashburger would be a sure bet, even at an airport, but this location well and truly sucked. Disgusting.
Smashed burger does not mean burnt burger. This might as well have been dried out ground beef warmed up and laid on bread. Service was quick and friendly, but there is no room for seating either.
Sorry to hear they are closing.
Going to miss the shakes.
I'm rating this because their awful website forces you to enable your location. I just want to see the menu, and it does not let you disable the pop-up.
Luis was the employee who helped me and my friends he was absolutely wonderful and was extremely helpful when my friend dropped his food in the ground. Luis got him a new batch of fries and offered to get him new chicken tenders. The food was pretty tasty and the price was great, especially for airport food.
I had a small delay so decided to get a Smash Burger and drink. The burger was cold and seemed like it had been pre-cooked and burnt on the edges. It was probable one of the worst hamburgers I have ever had. When paying a premium for airport food and service, I expect something better than what was served to me. The burger ended up in the garbage after a couple of bites. Do not get your airport food at this place. There is no one that cares about the customer and it shows.
They close way too early. It says 8pm but they closed way before 7pm. Terrible that they treat customers this way

Got a simple cheeseburger today before my flight to ATL. Ate nothing else before that. Had a minor case of food poisoning during the flight but fortunately nothing embarrassing. How hard can it be to make a simple cheeseburger? Thanks!!
Smashburger—these folks know how to do a burger right. You walk in, and it’s clear they’re serious about their craft. The patties are smashed to get that crispy, caramelized edge, which gives it this fantastic texture that’s hard to beat. The toppings are fresh, the cheese melts just right, and the buns? Soft enough to hold everything together without falling apart, which is a small miracle in the burger world.
The fries are solid, especially those rosemary garlic ones—they’re a nice step up from the usual fast-food spuds. It’s a bit pricier than your typical burger joint, but you get what you pay for. If you’re craving a burger that’s not messing around and actually delivers on flavor, Smashburger is worth a stop.

The absolute worst fries I've ever had. Like overpriced cardboard strips. Burger and chicken were relatively good.

Back in July I was stranded at the Boise Airport due to the Microsoft/Crowdstrike debacle. I left Boise to make a connecting flight to Salt Lake City then to Dallas. While I was stranded, very few positive things happened. It was an absolute nightmare. I had a lot of time to kill because my flight was getting cancelled one after the other. I decided I might as well get something to eat. I had seen a Smashburger. I haven’t it in a while, so I stopped by. It seemed that the manager stepped in to help his employees. He couldn’t have been more helpful and customer service driven. He was making sure the orders were completed in a timely manner and made sure you had your drinks and any sauces you wanted. All without dropping the smile on his face. I thought that was good. As was the food. As I had been stranded for a while I ordered the double bacon smashburger. Very very tasty. I also got an order of the smash tots. I had never had them before. But I liked the smash fries. I got them and they were pretty good. Except when I got about ¾ the way down. Extremely greasy. So I couldn’t finish them. But with that big burger, I don’t think I could anyways. But still. If I was coming back through Boise Airport, I would definitely make another stop at this location. Your experience may be different, but this was mine. Be well everyone.

Grabbed a plain, gluten free burger before my flight out of Boise. They took so long to make the food that I grabbed the bag and headed for my plane. I was given the burger pictured…and now I’m on a flight with a gut bomb I can’t eat. Smashburger should refund my money, but guess what? Good luck contacting them, because they don’t care and won’t answer. Go anywhere but Smashburger at the Boise Airport. They won’t get your order right and, even if they do, they will give your order to someone else!
