The pizza is always good, that's why we put up with lackluster service and a dirty restaurant. The light fixtures are filthy with fingerprints in the dust. It took quite a while to get recognized and seated. But, as mentioned, the pizza is good.
My experience at Smoky Mountain was awesome!! They have an excellent and reasonably-priced wine selection. I highly recommend the Joel Gott Cabernet. The pizza crust was delicious, especially with the new parmesan crust. I ordered the Valley Veg and it was loaded with fresh veggies. The ceasar salad was great, too! It had slivered red onion and the flavor was excellent. In addition to the food, I really appreciated how the team treated me. I travel a lot and am usually dining...
I ordered the insalata Napoli! The food was absolutely fantastic! I sat at the bar top and felt instantly welcomed and comfortable! Everyone, from the cook, Trevor, all the way down to the servers Amberlei, Justin and Chris, were nothing but kind and incredibly hard working, the place was busy!! Everyone kept it moving with grace and stellar customer service! I’ll definitely be back and next time I’ll bring friends!!
