Sockeye used to be our go-to spot, but their menu change was a major letdown. They removed the steak and replaced it with the ribeye, which we used to order just for. The veggies also changed to random cooked carrots, which is disappointing. Apparently, the type of “veggies” you get depends on the season and the time of day you visit. It’s a shame, especially considering the previous customer’s pictures.

One of the most underrated places to get food and a beer. The powerhouse dip is amazing. Any burger you choose won’t be bad. The sweet potato fries are delicious.

The bartender let me sample 4 beers and they were all amazing. It was a tough choice. I settled on the socktoberfest. The nachtoberfest was a close 2nd.
Ive been here in boise for a week and I definitely regret not coming sooner.

My wife and I decided to try this place out and was it the best decision! The restaurant was very nice and very large. It had great seating either inside or on their huge patio. The food was top notch! Flown in halibut and only on Fridays is when this is available where we ordered the fish and chips with their homemade clam chowder. Best we've ever had. Go check them out. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for a great dining experience.

We love sockeye been coming for years really enjoy being able to bring our dog on the patio. You’ve changed the menu though and we miss the trout the spice salmon and now you’ve changed the finger steaks and fries

Salmon dinner is good but they changed.to.mash potatoes instead of wild rice and no good vegetables . It sucks won't order again. Why change something when it was so good?
