Went to the solid bar and grill in downtown Boise at 405 S. 8th st for a late lunch before the place fills up. Hannah was the waitress and she was a five star waitress. She was professional, very helpful and a very good conversational kinds of person that made me feel comfortable. I ordered the chipotle black jack burger with some very hand cut fries and they have a three beer rotation. She told me the three and she said the Irish red was her favorite. She offered to bring me three samples and I agreed that the Irish red was the best if the three. When we review a place it’s rated on three categories. Food, service and atmosphere. I give five stars on service and food with a 4 1/2 on atmosphere. I will come back and the price was at a very nice price point.

We stopped there after a movie at Flicks on New Year's Eve. First time there. It was early -4:00 pm so was able to get seats at the bar. Great beer options and food buffalo chicken salad as a wrap (recommended by Hannah behind the bar was great! We shared and had extra blue cheese. Best part of the whole experience was chatting with Hannah - she had great recommendations for us and was SOOOO pleasant throughout. We'll be back and hope to see Hannah.

Solid Grill & Bar is such a great restaurant. The atmosphere and staff are too notch! The food is great and clearly states what foods are vegan, gluten free, etc. which is very helpful. We visited yesterday and Ian waited on us. He was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend visiting!
