Neat little restaurant downtown. Been here a couple times. Brunch, happy hour and for appetizers. Shrimp cocktail is great! The popcorn during happy hour is devine. I did order the french toast for brunch and the syrup is overly sweet. It's better without the syrup. The ceaser salad is delicate but was turned off when I found hair in my salad. Unfortunately, finding hair is quite common. We found hair in my friend's salad when we were eating togther. Overall, a good restaurant.

Listen, I really want to like Stardust. I'd say it has some of the nicest decor in Boise. The wait staff tried to be nice although I don't know if it was a kitchen problem, a wait staff problem, a combination of both, or what-- it just shouldn't be that hard when there are so few diners in the house. I have been to Stardust twice-- appetizers summer 2023 when they opened, and last night (March 2024). It was a pretty slow Wednesday night and I figured that it would be an easy slam dunk for them. Our waitress was new in training but a nice lady; she could have rounded on us a little more frequently considering that there were maybe 6 occupied tables at the time, but I totally understand the training situation. I even liked my foie gras appetizer-- how can you go wrong with meat butter? What got me was the time it took to get dinner (hanger steak for me, osso buco for my wife) to the table. Again, with not very many diners I am still puzzled why it took maybe 40min? At any rate. My hanger steak was, uh, barely warm. There was a lump of unmelted, not melting herb butter on it and my fries, although definitely truffle flavored, were also nearing room temperature. So I sent it back and it came back only marginally warmer with a bunch of extra fries. My wife's osso buco was a little salty and more lemony than necessary. The wait staff were really nice, offering us a free dessert which initially I didn't even want but my wife decided on taking home the chocolate mousse and I'll admit I ate half of it later that night. I don't know if I can come back to give it a third chance. It's too bad, such a beautiful place.

Took my sister and her husband last night. We had the fondue and the Barada and beet salad, French onion, soup, Osso Bucco. The food was delicious, but the most impressive was Kara and her creative drinks and excellent service. Try the the slow burn gastric a proprietary drink that Kara created absolutely fantastic.

Wow this place is incredible! I always sit at the bar and order a Slow Burn and it has become my favorite cocktail in all of Boise. I don’t usually drink tequila, but I’ve been converted by this spicy, smoky, tangy drink. The brunch is amazing, go get yourself a lobster Benedict and a Bloody Mary! Can’t say enough good things about the staff, they’ve changed my life.

Brunch is such a good time! Absolutely fantastic service from Sammie, who was super knowledgeable and recommended some delicious oysters and drinks. Also, out of all the avocado toasts I’ve had in Boise, this is by far my favourite avocado toast in town; I get it every time and am always satisfied.
We had a great time at brunch! Food was great! Our server Sami was very helpful and sweet. She gave us great recommendations and made our experience fantastic!

We were largely ignored. When we did get the attention of our waitress, we had to remind her of what our drink order was; a coke and orange juice. 45 minutes in, still no food. They were not busy and the reasons are obvious from the terrible service.

We had the cutest server! Cute outfit, great recommendations , lovely attendance. I believe her name is Sami... her and Tim were very professional and knowledgeable. Talk about a great presence! The espresso martini was not as expected and I wish it was more sweet but a great cocktail for spirit-forward lover!

We went here for brunch and were SO IMPRESSED. Tim our server was incredible, very attentive, asked us if we had any food allergies right from the start, suggested excellent menu options and was just a delight. We marveled the entire meal how nice it felt to have such an excellent dining experience for a very reasonable price. 12/10 recommend!!!Kid-friendliness: We brought our 2 month old and the service staff were so sweet about it. They commented on how sweet he was and were very smiley. It’s a nicer atmosphere so kids should be well behaved
