I went to this bar with my girlfriend for our first date. It had become a staple for us especially for special occasions. The menu use to be great and the cocktails were worth the price point. This no longer holds true AT ALL. The menu is short (6 cocktails now) and the 2 I had were...something. I honestly do not think I've had a worst cocktail in Boise to date. I wish I was kidding because I spent 31 dollars on an espalon cocktail that tastes like a cheap lemonade packet and acid and my girlfriend had an espresso martini that was watery and reminiscent of the instant coffee I drink camping. Maybe a total of 10 fl oz in both drinks. The portions are small and ABSOLUTELY not worth 15 dollars. Go to press and pony, drink at SLG or even save yourself the steps and go literally to any other bar within a mile radius. For a 14 dollar minimum, this is a joke now. I would however like to add that the service was excellent and they were all really nice. Apparently they switched bartenders and are "starting over". I honestly can't even begin to express how disappointing it is to have to leave this review. A good place ruined. I'd hope they were more transparent about that and actually charged what the drink is worth, $4.

This is far from a speakeasy. We walked in the door, sat down, and were served. Atmosphere was bright and ordinary. I’m not a pessimist but this another nice bar with great drinks, not a speak easy.

THE BEST COCKTAILS Bar in Boise, for sure!Their drink creations taste complex and well-balanced. They are great at the classics and have a classics menu (like the rosemary Rubicon) and have a menu that's fun to pick from. Their "Method 104" let's the bartender think of a customized drink for you - and their cocktails always hit. I had the ube flavored Studded Belt and would deff recommend! The staff are friendly and it feels cozy and comfortable there.Go downstairs to visit either via 8th street or from the back near the gridiron steakhouse

Tucked in the basement around the corner of main, this has great vibes, very cool staff and delightful cocktails. Not sure what you want? Just give the bartenders a spirit and they’ll take it from there.

Is this one of the pricier bars in Boise? 100% But does that keep you from enjoying an AWESOME array of cocktails to please any pallette? No way. Really nice spot for an intimate drink after dinner

In my few trips, I've been served delicious drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The outdoor seating in mid-summer is perfect.

The 2nd Best Cocktail Bar in Boise without a doubt! I forgot the 1st one so…?I like the fact that I can just pick a base liquor and they will make me a delicious drink. The bartenders are great and you never know when they will break out into a performance so be ready!Did I mention, this place is Boise’s worst kept secret?! Cheers ?

Followed a sign from 8th Street and glad we did! The drinks are amazing - Spiked Collar is one of my favorite drinks ever. The service was great and we loved that we could sit inside a cozy bar or outside in the nice weather. Will be back!

Had the oddest experience here, came with a group of friends at the same time as another group who had walked in. Right off the bat we got ignored by staff. Overheard the staff say to the other group “we were going to close early because it’s so slow” “we kept it open just for you guys” the bartender asked us if we were with the other group, we said no and got kicked out. They said it was due to a private event they were hosting for the night but it was clear they were just holding it for friends during business hours as they were talking about personal things. Again, super weird/uncomfortable, do not recommend for late night drinks as you might get a surprise ?Edit: looks like there’s another person who also got kicked out in the reviews, weird!!! never again

Pros: Had an Old Fashion that was very good. Bartender was very up beat and polite. Very likable. Cons; lacking in ambiance. Nothing of what I expected from a place calling itself a "speak-easy." Check out "The Safe House" in Milwaukee if you want to visit real speak -easy. The place basically looked liked an office space converted into a bar. Nothing exciting about this place that would make me want to go back.

Stumbling across Suite 104 during my trip to Boise was such a surprise. I can honestly say that it was one of the best bar experience I’ve ever had! Caleb and Natalie were an absolute blast.
