Absolutely amazing food. Baklava was 10/10 bought one and took another home for a late night snack. The employee was so nice and helpful. The music was so nice and lovely. Will be coming here again when I’m in town!

Food was so beautiful but not as good as the price would suggest, especially when factoring in the size of the pastries.

Kind staff and the pistachio latte was amazing. The ube was a bit too strong unfortunately. The cookies were good but a little overpriced imo. Overall would go again!

I absolutely adore both of the Sunshine Spice locations. But this location in downtown Boise is utterly charming! We fell in love with the sweet nook in the window. The atmosphere of the cafe is calm and is the perfect spot if you're on you're own and want to treat yourself or if you want a fun first date. It would be wonderful for a good time with friends and family as well, though I probably wouldn't take super young children there, but I will let you use your own judgement on that.
The baked goods and especially the cardamom coffee are divine. I have never had a single thing at Sunshine Spice that I didn't love. Their items are made with loving care and attention to detail. You don't have to take just my word for it either, they are James Beard Award nominees.
I adore their baklava, Turkish coffee, raspberry tart, and their chocolate/hazelnut choux with craquelin. (If you want a fuller review you can check out what I wrote about their other location on Fairview Avenue.)

Very good Turkish coffee
Drinks are ok, matcha great, latte great saffron latte not so great, Turkish coffee solid but not great. Food is great. Just needs some work on milk to coffee ratio.

Tried a Cardamom latte and a pistachio cookie. Both were excellent. A lot of unique flavors which were well balanced. They also had a bunch of pastries/tarts, that I would love to try next time.

Stopped in today to grab a coffee. I am moving locations for my work and now this sweet joint is next door! Walking in, it's very vibrant and delicate. There's beautiful displays of baked goods. All the pastries displayed looked elegant and delicious. They were so pretty that you almost didn't want to eat them.
The beautiful employee saw me walk in. I was greeted as she walked behind the counter. I checked out their drink menu. Everything looked fabulous but I went with a small vanilla mocha. I love that they have flavors like saffron and cardamom available. It makes their shop that much more unique.
I hung out for a bit so soak in the environment. There's two comfy nooks with beautiful pillows by the window. It allows you to embrace the moment and beauty of downtown. While checking out the vibes, I sipped on my mocha. It was just the right temp and sweetness. It was definitely a great way to start my Sunday morning.
I'm looking forward to checking out more of their beverages and goodies. If you're looking for a chill place to have coffee or looking for a cute spot for a coffee date, Sunshine Spice Cafe is the joint to hit up.

This is a great spot for coffee and a treat. It’s cozy and has a welcoming vibe. It feels like their original Fairview location but a little more intimate. I love the window seats for people watching. The food is delicious and beautiful and the service is amazing. What a great addition to downtown.

This is a lovely coffee shop with a lot of unique options. I had the cardamom latte, raspberry tart and the spinach/mozzarella. The coffee was especially good and I love how the tart wasn’t too sweet. They have so many different flavors I can’t wait to try them all.

One of my all-time favorite coffee places in town. They have this saffron rice pudding that's absolutely to die for. They also have a variety of Western and Afghani drinks that are incredibly delicious. And with the rotating selection of pastries and drinks, you can never go there twice and expect not to have something different if that's something you're into.
